Aspirations for the Future

Bhoys and Ghirls now that we have secured 8inarow,i thought about aspirations in future years to come. It might be easy for us all to sit here in the glory of another title win. But what does the future hold, aspirations in going forward winning 9 in a row and onwards a d upwards. Now I know as we as Celtic family look ahead to doing the 10. It is all our dream and more, on a personal point of view I want to win the treble year on year. But that is in the hands of our board,Dermont Desmond bless him has a huge call to make after cup final. Now we all know we cannot second guess our majority shareholder imo he will get this next manager appointment spot on. Remember the time when our chief executive who was not PL went to Spain to bring in Hiddink only for Dermot to bring us MON. Rest is history. We just have to look at the last appointment to see where Dermot Desmond is coming from. We welcome all challengers to our title whoever they may be. So in retrospect our aspirations must and will be bigger than those who wish to dethrone us. 8 in a row treble treble and counting. The Celtic Family welcome the Chase. Bring it on. All very well, but where was he last summer when we did fuck all, lost out on a CL place and heralded our team going backward and suffering two humiliating defeats by Sevco.

Letโ€™s not try and paint a picture of omnipotence here. He fucked up last year leaving us with a massive rebuild in one window.

He has to up his game and stop waiting for the chickens coming home to roost before he tears himself away from the golf course to react.

Where we are right now is down to him if we want to give him praise for Rogers and MON. Itโ€™s not a case of focusing on the good, we have to look where we are now, how thecsqyad have been burned out. How we need at least five players. Thatโ€™s a balls up. Thatโ€™s his balls up. He needs to own it all, good and bad. Thevfaikure to address our glaring deficiencies in defence and having basically one striker is not good enough.

He needs to step up and more importantly demand continuous improvement year on year. We have declined as a force these last two seasons due to either buying guys not good enough, or buying fuck all.

Praise weโ€™re its due, but criticism too when he has failed. This last year the whole board have and 9iar is under pressure, never mind 10. Thatโ€™s failure in my book.

Get it right Dermot, we know you can. Do it.

Our aspirations for the future are ones of being dominant in Scotland and competing in Europe but the question that matters is so the board have the same aspirations as us or are they only interested in flogging the family jewels every season because they didn't invest to make the CL. group stages

Aspirations - TEN.

Secure that then fuck around all you like. TEN cements Celtic's legacy. TEN kills off the zombie mindset. TEN gets us within two of their falsified 'wuruld recurd'.

Recruitment is the prime factor to get right - manager should be Lenny IMO, to get us through to TEN. But the influx of new players needs improved 100%. Rodgers loaded us with some awful buys. Our most successful asset - Mousaa - wasn't even his; he got lucky with the timing. For all his EPL appeal, he chose wrongly far too often.
