Would it be possible to complete the season if and when we get the all clear
and if necessary shorten next season to get back on a level keel..

HH.
They can't do that. Every other league will award it, if they try and come the cunt, they won't get away with it. Calm doon.
I dont think they can declare a null and void season TV because if it is null and void they cannot make payments for the finishing league positions..

I would like to complete the season to mathematically win the league (& the cup) but what will happen if Scotland has not completed this process when UEFA start next season's CL & EL? If Scottish clubs don't participate it will trash the coefficient but if the league is not finished who gets to play in which tournament?

If the cup is not completed then 4th place in the league gets an EL spot with 2nd in the league entering the EL at a later stage than 3rd & 4th in the league. If the cup is completed (& we don't win it) then the cup winners get to enter the EL at the later stage.

Despite people's reluctance to finish the season early it may well have to happen. As usual, money talks. Sponsors and broadcasters will be keen to move on from this shambles and get next season's show on the road. If that scenario comes to pass then the competitions will have to be stopped where they are just as they do in F1 and in cycling when a race has to be stopped early.

Thank you for a great post and I cried reading it. You are most fortunate to live in a country where the population are appreciated and seen as assets to their country and worthy of safety and security. Can’t say the same for Britain as we still live as if in the dark ages. But with Brexit it has become unbearably worse rand feels like going back to Dickensian times - bring out your dead! There have been a couple of Cobra meetings in Downing Street recently and the result of that was that we were told that they believe in ‘herd immunity’ and ‘take it on the chin’ so they will leave it to run rampant through the population here and we were told that some of us ‘would lose our loved ones’. The message from Boris Johnson was ‘ wash your hands, and if you cough or sneeze use our elbow, and if you use a tissue remember and bin it. So my understanding now is that Johnson is only concerned about the economy. He actually said that we can’t close schools because then the parents would need to be off work to look after them and that would damage the economy. So there it is money before people’s lives that’s the Great Britain for you. Our only hope here in Scotland is that once we get through this Covid19 that we can get our independence where we can maybe mirror places like NZ and Norway Where people’s lives matter more than money to the treasury.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Very well said CelticRose.

If the last ten years of crippling austerity inflicted on the most vulnerable in our society wasn't proof enough then this crisis has proved beyond doubt what Johnson and his gormless gang of over-privileged arseholes really are......a heartless elite of cold, nasty, dangerous bastards who view us as little more than cash generating cattle to be sacrificed when the finances call for it.

This should be a wake-up call, if any were needed, to what these people are all about and how they see us!

The herd immunity strategy is not the policy. Its important people realise that. Our response is too little, but it's not herd immunity.

We dont have to look far for a solution about who gets what in the league.
We only need to go back to 1999 to see that EUFA awarded I think it was Partizan Belgrade the league title because war had broken out,the war did not last long but Partizan were still awarded the league championship and were only 2 points ahead of second place..
I dont know what happened about relegations and promotions..
I would call this a precedent..

It's the Darwin theory mate, Only the strong survive I.e fuck the vulnerable, old and the sick. Makes the economy stronger.😡
Exactly that TGS.

The trouble now for Boris and his band of soulless goons is that they can't deny their true nature after this......they have been exposed as the cold, callous, heartless elitist cunts they are!

It's now there for all to see, this Tory PM and his party were willing to let tens of thousands of the elderly and sick die a horrible death for economic benefit.

Economies recover, the dead don't!

TGS don't you mean the fittest survive, there will be old people who are fit and active and their immune sytem will evolve to become imunne. As it is a respiratory it attacks the lungs, therefore would it make sense to suggest that an older active person who has built up his lung endurance through exercise and lives smoke free and perhaps toxin free will have a better chance than some younger ones who slowly cripple their lungs without knowing the effects till older in life. Hope the doc pops in on this to innform on his thinking.
