Be aware, the spelling and punctuation police are now on duty!

Mark Guiddi on clyde Saturday clubs should be punished with point deductions.

So you can punish a club for a rogue player who wants away from a club and wants to leave a marker when he goes, aye right.
Clubs will not want to sign players and if you wanted to go down this route of deducting points you will end up with appeals and court cases holding up games and decisions and football self imploding.
As an employer you are responsible for Health and Safety and you cannot stop a player even if told to stop doing what they want an agent may simply tell his client to breach a rule and the club will want rid of you and if you dislike the club or feel aggrieved in the future and want revenge, breach the rules.
Foster of Ross County does not want to see Ross County do well for example for the furlough and release of him. imagine him knowing this in advance whilst still on the books before it ends, he is going abroad with a full press entourage following him knowing his club will be punished with points which could economically damage them with relegation as points are prisoners.

Bollocks and shite

Make it an offence that a player can be punished with the SFA by banning him from the game for a year if it's a serious risk to health by his action and then the club can follow it up with fining him again for breaching their rules, and then if the club wants rip up the contract for gross misconduct putting him out the game and loss of earnings for at least a year. Hit players in the pocket for their selfish actions, clubs have done no harm.
