Some fans seem to enjoy having a go at our great club ?
Yes,hangover from summer failures,see below,is having an affect on everybody at the club.
1) McGinn saga and disclosure.
2)Failure to provide BR with the 'few' quality players he asked for ?
3)KO to an average AEK team.
4)Dembele fiasco.Manager saying he was staying ?
5)Players attitude,in a huff not being in CL ?
When Manager isn't happy (justifiably) this affects team performance.
Yes,salaries attribute to a very high cost base expenses in accounts.
But,if success isn't rewarded,then our record 'turnover' does not materialise.
Sad to say,in over 40 yrs a fan,30 yrs a season ticket holder,now disabled,and if God spares me for another 30 yrs,I'll continue to buy my ticket.For the first time,I refused Europa package tickets.
Why ?
If our Board are not willing to invest,as our very successful Manager wanted to,why should I fork out extra money,this season ?
I believe this is what is at the crux of our current staleness in the team.
Brendan is ambitious and wants the best for our fans.
But,can we same the same about our Board ?
