So was mine, guys he worked with ignoring him etc, he got dogs abuse when I joined Celtic bhoys club and 40yrs later my brother in law got the same when my nephew signed for the pro youths at Celtic.

Funnily enough my wee da was a fully qualified referee, 1963ish he qualified Lanarkshire division, although having a normal handshake stopped him from climbing the ranks, he stuck to amateur and juveniles his whole life.
