I always thought the 7 v 1 game had not been televised.

Highlights pobably were not going to be replayed thats for sure, i remember the video of the team and they heard the Huns had dropped their centre half, might have been a guy called Mikelejohn or Shaw (dont quote me) anyway the Celtic team could not believe this they stated straight away they would win this, must have been an Isreal moment when KT and AR were lined up in the wrong starting blocks.

It wasn't on live but recorded the BBC at the time said there was a fire at the studio and they didn't have any of the match available

Thank you as a 10 year old boy listen to report on the wireless,live on a street surounded by prods did I enjoy widening them out,never seen the goals until now was under the impression all recording lost so thank you again what a day what a memory the war cry at the time was 7 past Niven and a reworking of the song Island in the sun , Hamden Hamden in the sun Celtic 7 and the Rangers none can't remember all the words but it used to get song out load and proud at games
