Celtic to tour Japan & Korea

Think we all had suspicions this was in the pipeline after the Sydney Cup, as the Celtic brand name is high in Japan and Korea again right now.

It's great to see the club conducting itself as is becoming of one of the worlds biggest football clubs.

No surprise to see the other touring clubs named as potential opponents are the likes of PSG who supposedly raked in a lot of dosh from a tour there last year, Bayern and Man City.

The profile of Celtic in Japan and Korea is at an all time high, moreso even than the days of Nakamura and Ki.

The Celtic brand has really elevated itself into a great position in that marketplace we are a very favorable destination for the players of the J and K leagues.

The Ange Postecoglou factor that keeps giving hugely beneficial returns in far flung regions of the globe.

Everything about the club from how the team plays the game, to how we do our transfer dealings early has been dragged into the new century by the appointment of Ange to an extent I could never have imagined not long ago.

The potential for Celtic was always there but now finally, actively acting on it, its great to see and about time too.
Exciting times for us Tim's under Ange, just how far can ge take us?

Watching Ange's address to the fans on trophy day again yesterday on YouTube, " you've embraced me, my family, this jumper", Ange and his wife and kids look so happy , truly a match made in heaven.

Lead the way Celtic HH 🍀

Football is probably the ONLY truly global sport, our fan base is world wide, we have a instantly recognised iconic strip, we play exciting attacking football, have a support that is welcomed worldwide, the Asian market is for the most part, untapped by us despite making inroads with Nakamura,
Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines Australia, India, potentially a billion new fans, all largely ignored by the big western teams, make a effort to reach out to them, an annual tour, under 21’s, soccer schools/camps, invest a few million and the rewards could be 10-20 fold, they love football, over there……they could love us just as much 💚

Leaving the financial benefits aside, I think this is a great move. Consolidate our brand there. Build up useful relationships. Another brick in our global brand.
It's a brilliant move , have always felt the club let the brand slide a little or a lot even instead of building upon the relationship we had with Japanese and Korean football on the back of Nakamura, Mizuno, Ki, Cha Du Ri , and the Chinese as well.

At least now we are back with a bang in this region and our historic connections would have peaked the knowledgable supporters interest anyway.

To take the title winning manager from Japan and in turn he brings some of the best talent in the region with him and is instantly successful in Scotland.

Gaining Champions league exposure versus holders Real Madrid no less, and world cup exposure Maeda and Juranovic at the very highest level showing Celtic in an extremely impressive and positive light.

Celtic has been shown without doubt as an extremely desirable destination for any up and coming talent.

It's a fantastic footballing story and one that catches the imagination of fans everywhere,

Ange has re-opened the door for us,
this time Celtic must stick with it for good.

Utterly gobsmacked and gutted for the club , its korean players and our ever increasing supporter base in Korea that this mob stadium X have been unable to sort this out so that Celtic have had to join , Roma, Wolves, and a few others in pulling out of the tour completely.

Perhaps Celtic should've looked into the background of stadium X beforehand?
Hindsight a wonderful thing , we have to get back there next season or whenever we can.

Its too big a marketplace where our brand is enormous to let it go at that .

The club could organise a mini-tour and play 1 or 2 Korean teams as a goodwill gesture.

Get Roma & Wolves to come to Paradise instead. I hear they have a gapin their schedules too.
The original Rangers got their nickname 'Huns' in a friendly against Wolves in the 60s, when they caused that much damage the local paper ran the headline, 'A pack of rampaging Huns' to describe the damage they had done to Wolverhampton.
I'm too young to remember, ma granny told me.

We shoulda just nipped over the border, (its not well guarded) to North Korea where Kim Jun Uns fav team Pyongyang Rangers are just celebrating their 50th treble in a row. All of which were won without a single penalty being given against them and they averaged 5 a game.
However any similarity between them and Glasgow Rangers is purely coincidental. As its well known there are no Protestants in North Korea.

What are the penalties in Pyongyang?
Death by firing squad?
5 seems a bit low 🤔

If only to alert Kim to the fact the Klan are trying to attract American investors. And an allegation they are the most successful club in the world. Hence a claim to world dominance. Expected reply: 🚀 💥
