Iwata looks much happier playing at right CB as Starfelt reverts to left CB. Big Carl clearly prefers playing on his more natural right hand side of the defence but is willing to potentially sacrifice his own performance for the good of the side.
He doesn't look like someone coming back from injury.We are a different team with Johnston in it

A very enjoyable first half. Every player has stepped up the intensity after their holiday fortnight. Johnston and Taylor at full back helps as well. Hopefully Greg's knock before the break is not bad.
Now keep going, get another quick goal or two and give Vata, Summers, Haksabanovic, Forrest, etc, a run out.

I like Maeda - love his tenacity and work-rate, but there is such a better balance about the side with Jota on the (left) wing and Abada down the right. Because they both naturally start wide, it means Johnstone and Taylor can get into those inverted positions. Look where Taylor was when he plays it into Kyogo?

I'm usually not too fussed about records, but 1 more goal overtakes the Lisbon Lions record of 111 league goals in season 1966-67. That would be a nice way to finish the league this season. Although they did that in 4 games less than played this season.

Feck sake. Kyogo has injured his ankle. We should have brought Oh on at half time to protect him (I was more concerned about that shoulder of his).
