A like the 5.30 aswell but a think there’s got to be a bit give and take when the semi involves aberdeen,Ross county,.three o’clock on a Saturday would be spot on for me,,the travel involved for both clubs and our own supporters who come from far and wide( Irish lads especially)..isn’t good?…..also fuck they daft pyrotechnics hate to think what some poor cunts are breathing in stand around them…bin them lads!!

Tbh, 5:30 on Saturday is a great time for everyone...much better for travelling than 7:45 on a Wednesday! Don't ye think?
 
Kickoff was 10:45 local time, so Larry and I agree with the later time slots. Great game to watch even if Clancy was a tool. Booked CalMac for nothing, then gives Brendan a yellow for kicking the ball away, after he fell on his arse. Shinnie will be gutted, and that's always a good thing. HH

You're not the only one who picked up on that, my brother said the same.
Unusual for Charlie to talk us down like that, I'm hopeful that what he meant wa theres more to come.
It's not the number of attempts we're used to granted but come on, we just dismantled the next best side in the country in a game many thought would be touch and go.
I'd rather have 12 attempts 8 on target 6 goals, than 30 attempts 15 on target 3or 4 goals anyday, it means we're taking the opportunities we create and are clinical, its what the best sides do, its we constantly hear.

10/10 for BR. Team selection was perfect. Seen the weakness Scales can have sometimes and Valles now asking serious questions of Taylor. Maeda and Kuhn were immense, they made our closest competition look poor. Hope Aberdeen don't let this result affect them and continue to be our long-term closest competitors domestically. Looks Like BR is now adapting the team to null our opponents strengths, long may it continue. Loved how he was raging despite the team being ahead. :) .
 
Enjoyed that yesterday..

The day started of well as I managed to swap seats with someone on our bus... So got to go in with wee Shades after all, albeit the Mount Florida end...

Anyhoo..

Kasper... Money for auld rope these days for the big mhan.. Nearly had to dive once, but managed to just bend down and pick up the trundle hurling towards him at a pace akin to Dessers in full flight mode...

The fab four at the back.. More than lived up to their name in this game.. Oddly enough after back to back Motm awards our Canadian Celt seemed early doors to be slight off it, but soon got back to his usual self...
The Yankee double act never lost a duel or ball between them the whole time they were together and both were in the 8out of 10 scoring steaks..

Young Alex Valle.. Just enjoy him while we can folks, this boy is going far in the game and was very nearly our Motm.


Clancy and the VAR team allowed numerous off the ball incidents as well as on the ball (Duk should have walked) fouls.. Booked Calmac for nothing and they done their best to level the game out.. But to no avail, even had a ludicrous attempt at trying to chop off our 4th... Was a pretty poor show from the officals..

The smoke people... Fuckin idiots... It's well by time our mealy mouthed custodians done something about this..

Brendan would have got a ten out of ten yesterday but I've docked a point for that ridiculous dive when no one was near him 😂😂😂.

The mids... They 3 should be our starting mids on Tues.. Sorry Luke and Paulo... But thats my humble opinion... Arne sublime,, has dig carried the ball well when needed to, but just broke up their play most of the time and fed his partners the perfect ball, o aye and he got back to his early perfect corner taking with a peach for the opener..

Calmac the conductor was back and back to his very best captain led by example yesterday and they awe tuned in with him...

His name is Reo and he dances through the game, constantly fouled on and off the ball, a European would resort to retribution, our Japanese general decided to order death by a thousand passes forward to our ninja assassination squad upfront. As good a display as I've seen from Reo and to me was our overall Motm..

The Assassins.. Kuhn ran a moke and the sheeps only tactic was to foul him and when that didn't work foul him again, but to no avail, also in the 8/10 range..

Kyogo scored set up goals worried the big tall sheep the whole game, who also resorted to their tried and by now failed off the ball tactics on him..

Daizen scored 3 made others and generally made a complete and utter pest of himself, even got told off by the ref for twice in a couple of minutes tipping a sheep on its side and was the actual Motm due to his Hattrick...

The hauners.... Brendan brought Greg and Liam on at left back and left centre back after 65 mins and they both proceeded to prove that Brendan mate the right choice to start with, neither covered themselves in glory unfortunately... Funnily enough Paulo came on and took time to settle but he got there.. Jamsie had a few runs and held the ball up well.. Big Adam was hardly involved either..

🎶 Aberdeen away, Aberdeen away, Aberdeen away away away 🎶 was the chant from us yesterday, as one left they all seemed to follow in quick succession, typical sheep..

Same as was at the Swindon cup match drawing at full time did I stay for extra time or get home for kick off , got home in time to see the smoke clearing like you and other don’t like the Pyro,s it’s something that football can do without anyway Swindon won in extra time and Celtic scored 6 no a bad Saturday so quite happy with 5-30 kick off,s don’t think the Wife would agree thou
 
Still buzzing after the game game yesterday 💓 and I've just watched the highlights again. This time I noticed the amount of on and off the ball incidents involving the sheep hacking into our bhoys. That consistent fouling without being noticed (aye right) is going to severely hurt our players and that's what we can't afford when we have so many games to play.

If teams can't compete with us, their only tactic is to cripple us and there is zero protection from the MiB. Just as well we have strength and depth in the side because we're going to need it.

I think our Japanese ghuys have learned to ride these tackles better now than when they first arrived and thank god for it.
