One more time, and I'll speak up for those in the back. If you don't want all the blog hubbub, there's a very simple workaround.

Go up to the top left of your screen and click on "Forums." When you do that it comes up with a screen with either "Celtic chat" and "General chat," and note that there's a third option under the listing "Sites."

If you want to avoid all the blog hubbub, do NOT click on "Sites" -- let me repeat that, ahem, DO NOT CLICK ON "SITES" -- and click on the other two -- "Celtic chat" and "General chat" accordingly.

You're welcome.

It's a quick draw thing though on your phone. I pop on in between jobs or if I'm a bit bored on the sofa. I hit the wee lightning symbol to see what you bhoys and ghirls are chatting about....and all I see is blogs....so I put my phone down again. The blogs go on so frequently that all the other conversations dissappear

I hear you, Frank, loud and clear. But I would guess that the blogs are so prevalent because Winning Captains is probably trying to make some money -- or, God forbid, at least make his money back -- from the blogs in question. Or he wants the group to be well-informed, unlike the trogs at Swallow Swallow, and somehow it got away from him. These are theories, not fact. And personally, despite the inconvenience, either way I'm OK with that.

No Larry, Winning Captains is not allowing this for revenue. He understands the forums' frustration and anger about being spammed by the other bloggers. This was all explained by him in the fall-out of the short-lived reign of the blogger James Forrest due to a mix up by the site's hosts.

Unfortunately we lost a few regulars as a result before it got sorted out and WC regained control of the Noise. Originally it was envisaged to be a shared forum for WC's new Celtic Star website, JF's Celtic Blog and the other blog (Video Celts I think?). After a very short time, only WC had anything to do with this place as the others walked away.

At that time, every single blog JF ever posts gets automatically shared on here. Even though he dropped all interest in the Noise yet again once he realised WC had not stopped running the forum. Because JF is an admin we cannot ignore him.

Many of us use the lightening bolt to see what is new on here but what you see is predominantly blog posts. First world problems I suppose. But until we employ a useless Bealegian slaphead as our manager, then us moaners need to find something to complain about other than Peter fecking Lawwell!
 
I don't mind The Celtic Star, I enjoy they're content. What I don't.need is the drivel on the Daily Ranger(one blogger is obsessed by it, Keith jackshun in particular) also if you do want to read a blog with all the advertising just click on simplifie or use the translate option in you're browser it cuts out 90% the ads.

I'm probably guilty of being selfish, Larry, The Celtic Star is the only blog I read. I've no interest in the others. Just my opinion I guess.
