Celtic v Hearts, Saturday 14th September 3pm KO

A rare Saturday 3pm kick off at Celtic Park.
Not heard any updates on AJ or CCV's fitness, or Forrest or Taylor, but I think AJ may miss out as a precaution ahead of Europe on Wednesday. Similar line up as Sevco game pre international break assuming everyone has returned fit and have had a couple of days training under their belt.

Schmiechel
Ralston CCV Scales Taylor
Bernardo McGregor Hatate
Kuhn Kyogo Maeda
Subs Sinisalo AJ Trusty Valle McCowan Engels Forrest Idah Palma

These post international break games are usually poor games and we often need to grind a result out. Hearts have been poor this season so will come and park the bus and try to catch us on the break or through a set piece.

We'll eventually grind them down and win 3-1

Diet huns come visiting our dear Green Place this weekend, bringing with them their own brand of negativity, for most other teams you'd be forgiven for thinking they might have a go because Celtic will have "one eye on Europe", but their manager is devoid of talent and only looks at how to stop rather than how to beat Celtic... His jaket is already dodgy... Lets just finish him off..

Kasper..

Tony Liam Trusty Greg..

Calmac Reo Bernardo.

Kuhn Kyogo Maeda...

Cameos fae Jamsie Engels and Idah after an hour and maybe last ten for the Barca boy...

4 nuffin... All goals scored by our mhen from the rising sun..

That is the side I'd be predicting - if CCV is not 100%. Make sure him and AJ are fit for Europe.

I don't think it will be 4-0 as Naismith will have his troops fired up as always. I also suspect a penalty for Shankland as there has been so much positive publicity about Kasper looking to set a historic shut-out record that it will not be allowed to happen. So expect the MIB to award the Diets another dodgy handball penalty for the ball lightly brushing the back of Iwata's arm from close range - even though he will not even be playing for Celtic on Saturday.

I'm predicting 3-1 and a media meltdown and Naismith to go tonto over some perceived injustice when Celtic get the benefit of a minor 50/50 call, all to deflect from Hearts' failings and to strengthen the narrative that Sellick's success is only because all the MIBs are Tims and the MIBs who are sevco fans go too far trying to prove they are impartial by giving everything against the Forces of Darkness and in favour of their hated rivals.

There’s a wee doubt over CCV as well methinks…

Gone for 4 0 on the predictor. Quite happy to see perhaps Engels start ahead of Reo to give him some game time ahead of Wednesday.
But Reo to start Wednesday.

Reo ( jmo) is going to really up his game, his body language appeared to me he was bitterly disappointed with being subbed against the huns, but he really should've scored.
His overall play has been good bit not the Reo we all know he can be and Rodgers won't wait for him, not when record signing Engels is sitting on the bench.

Reo, Engels, Bernardo, the Celtic daft Dundee bhoy McCowan hit top form, with calmac already on top form , we'll give anyone troubles.
The backline could well see Trusty replace scales ( who's done everything asked of him) as CCVs partner and our defence is finally sorted out to an exciting standard then we'll match or better many in this cl🤞
Yet to see how much we will improve , but targetted acquisitions is the 👌
Cannot underestimate Bratislava, nor overestimate ourselves , lets thump hearts , leave them bottom of the table first things first, then all eyes on Bratislava whove reached the league format from rnd1 some achievement that is, we know only too well since we've had to do it and have.
Hopefully we will have just too much for them than what theyve faced , APOEL and Midtjylland are no mugs so after hearts all eyes on them.
Mon Ra hoops here we fuckin go HH

A park the bus game with the usual pushing and tripping thrown in, think Celtic will be to fast and skilled for them going for 5-0 again even if we have to change the defence we have players in the squad to fill in, it’s going to take a good team to beat Celtic and I don’t think that is Hearts

I think tbh and fair that at this time hearts will struggle to beat anyone in the division.
The conference league imo will be good for them, coming up against mostly superior sides usually lifts a side to play better, learning from the opposition.
In Naismiths case it cannot come quickly enough , hearts and Kilmarnock are 2 of Scotland's biggest clubs it's true.
That both have 1 point from 12 is disgraceful, I do expect a revival from both clubs , for their sakes they'd best hope the top 6 (5 really) is still within catching distance , it would do Scottish football not much good to lose these two to the championship, despite the fact that we'd fookin love it , 2 hunnites gone in one fell blow 😎
