How did aw the Scotland squad no huv tae isolate when positive cases were in squad
Some did, Christie being one of them. Likewise with the U21s.
The issue for Celtic, if the player caught Covid in Dubai, is they were all on a 6 hour flight in a small(ish) business charter plane. Add the lack of social distancing & mixing with members of the public from the photos of them there.
If you are Hibs, who are already pissed that the game was moved to Monday, you will be kicking up with the JRG about this.

Must be a chance this game will be postponed given the positive Covid test. Whole team, management and backroom staff should need to self isolate for 10 days if positive case was in Dubai
The headlines say players all negative (not a pun) and one positive, so why do all the team neeed to isolate, if thats what is suggeted. should all the Scotland party have been told to isolate, and do you honestly think Celtic did not run tests when out in Dubai, they test consistently, he may have been already tested in Dubai and seperated from the squad then tested at the airport and positive whilst all others would be in the state they travelled, who the fuck looks into a Scottish medias reporting of Celtic and takes it in, Celtic I believe do not talk to these cunts unless its the contracted speak aboput the game and to get near the team they also would have to be put through covid tests, so the papers do not just walk into the Celtic party and ask questions and Celtic give them scoops.
Celtic today confirmed that one player has recorded a positive test for covid-19. Clearly the player will receive all our care and full support.
All other members of our squad, management team and backroom squad are negative.

(According to the SFA) Players kept apart in separate rooms, social distanced and wore masks in indoor areas and any contact outdoors (training, playing) there's meant to be minimal risk of infection unless they're in close proximity for a sustained period of time (15 mins or more).

That's the reason Christie and Tierney were pulled up and instructed to isolate, both apparently broke the rules by going into Armstrong's room to play the playstation.

And Arsenal told them to go fuck themselves, only Christie missed out.

Was Armstrong not tested by his club and on arrival if so did he test negative twice and develop the symptoms late on, find the Armstrong scenario a bit strange, IMO the virus was carried through officials who would be using their own discretion and meeting other officials from other parts of FIFA.
Also if Tierney went back and Arsenal told Scotland to fuck off and Tierney was fine. does that not trigger alarm bells, imagine we all told the government to fuck off and carried on our outdoor activities, are the SFA saying they never challenged Arsenal or were they caught having members on a jolly whoshould not have bee near the hotel let alone the players. Remember these players are legends to the some of the officials kids and they are in a privlidged position to maybe get a wee souvenier for the kids like a top autograph signed ball etc, which in order to obtain would place them in contact with the player, has any SFA official or Referees tested positive, or does it not infect the ludges.

I think it was the Health Board for the region where the hospital who advised that Christie & Tierney had to self-isolate. Arsenal appealed this decision because Tierney had previously tested positive for Covid.

Up to 14 days incubation period where virus may not be detectable to testing Boab so it's possible Armstrong had it when he was tested by both his club and Scotland but it just wasn't detectable at that stage.

It's also entirely possible Armstrong picked it up from an official or someone else that was part of the Scotland travelling party like you think and on this occasion it WAS detectable early on, if so then I'd imagine the track and trace protocols are the same for national teams as they are for the rest of us so that official and anyone he or Armstrong came into contact with would also have to self isolate. Who knows maybe they did and the SFA kept quiet about it, anything is possible where that mob is concerned. That said Armstrong may have just been unlucky and contracted it from something he touched that was contaminated. Suppose we'll never know now mate.

I believe it was the SFA that instructed both Christie and Tierney to isolate. SFA have no authority where Arsenal is concerned so it would have to be the English FA that ordered them to comply and it seems they didn't and knowing the SFA it's unlikely they even bothered following it up with the English FA.

Seems it came from the SFA BB......

A few staff members forced to isolate too.

Thanks Shadow. It was the Lothian Health Protection Team that reported the people who had been in close proximity. But as you say, the SFA ordered the clubs to follow government guidance.

Apologies mate thought you meant it was the Health Board who were the ones specifically forcing Christie and Tierney to self isolate. Yer spot on they would've been responsible for reporting it to the track and trace team.
