He looks hungry enough but not quite sharp enough at the moment, which is only to be expected. I think he will come good for us very soon.
That was a couple of good chances and unlucky to hit the post with his header.

Luca Connell is the standout so far in this 2nd half. Beautiful through balls to Klimala and now Griff. And some battling tackles and driving forward past several opponents. Is he a long term replacement for Broony's position?

No idea but you should be able watch the last few minutes. You might be like me and have to listen to 2 Geordies whittering away and constantly thanking folk for donations but they are still better than Andy Walker.

Fantastic setup by Karamoko, great footwork by Griff and a lovely finish (until Klimala poked it home before it crossed the line). Hope to see more linkup from these guys during this season.

I'm delighted with that. I love a natural poacher who just lives for sticking the ball in the net. Griff would have done the same.
