I'm hoping for Viking. It's a pity it isn't a week later as I'll be in Stavanger then.

I hope Hearts do much better in Europe next season. Motherwell too, but I suspect they will be bedding in a new manager and rebuilding after their best players are snapped up. In case no one told you before, we need all Scottish clubs to do well to boost our UEFA coefficient.
 
Of those sides the one that sticks out as the side id prefer to avoid would be AEK Athens, not because i dont think wed beat them but just the bad memories they brinng back.
All clubs who are in the champions league qualifiers are there on merit so none xan really be taken lightly as last season showed. Though that side pribably should be in Asia's version of the champions league we must learn from everything that went this season.
 
The one thing that you can guarantee is we will not be ready for the qualifier. We never plan for these games, hence knocked out 5 times on the bounce. Mic the Mute will be failing to complete deals whilst Despot will be on the golf course ignoring all calls and emails. It's The Celtic Way.
 
Also we simply have to be in this seasons champions league, missing out 2 seasons on the trot is unthinkable.
I dont buy that were more Europa league level not when were on it we belong there.
Plus the Europa showed us its a tougher competition than many gave it credit for despite some decent results we had some howlers, in the CL we know were up against it but that often brings out the best in us.
High time the club truly back the manager given Celtic make just shy of £60million per home matchday thats not far of £240 million for 4 home games its high time we pay the going rate and there will be Hell to pay for this board if we fail to see proper investment.

That cannot happen again Gary ....we need to see a completely different approach this close season with so much change needed ....we need to be holding on to AJ but with Engels Hatate and Daizen certs for the off along with maybe Nygren and a host of loans we need confirmation of any new manager confirmed the week after the Final at the latest....to get this rebuild underway.

And Viking Stavanger will be into their season. Always a problem when being drawn against Scandinavian opposition in these qualifiers. The temperature in Athens is just starting to ramp up now and will be scorchio if we have to play them in August. They will all be trickier than this season's opponents and we know how we faired against them.
