In his latest love letter to all that is corrupt in our game Evening Times writer ( using the term journo would be a breach of the Trades Description Act ) Chris Jack reflects on the causes of the last 'strike' by refs and all but predicts that there will be another , soon .
He blames ( without actually saying so ) Celtic and John Reid for this 'strike' - how dare they complain about Dougie-gate and the conspiracy to protect him by the SFA Head of referees .
Today he blames ( without actually saying so ) Celtic , their Board and their fans - how dare they ask for explanations about 'honest mistakes' made by Beaton that no one 'was bothered about during the game '.
The whole thrust of his article is a supposed defence of referees for all the criticism they have endured this season - but he only mentions Beaton . He mentions no other complainant , mentions no other ref , mentions no other club.
He fails to touch on the continuing demonising of Willie Collum by Sevco and its criminal chairman who in an open letter have called into question the integrity of this ref . Where was the fiery defence of Collum by Chris Jack when this occurred ?
No , it is clear that this will be the first of a coordinated campaign to undermine any criticism Celtic and its supporters in relation to the Beaton affair and to deflect attention away from the wrongdoings which are going unpunished by Sevco and its players .
Expect more talk of 'strikes' and similar underhand attacks on those with genuine grievances about the poor quality of refereeing and the lack of action from the SFA .
We all know what the initials S.F.A. stand for - and they deliver every time !
