Coco's dream

So poor ol' Coco on IN has lost it again, no sign of reality . We love his hope and delusion.

Morelos bidding war increases - £20M 'reached'..
The bidding war for Alfredo Morelos has hit nearly £20M following Rangers’ refusal to buckle to a reported €12M bid from French side Lille.

The Ligue 1 side are said to be coming back with a higher number, with information suggesting it’s in the €16M range, but PL side West Brom have reportedly joined the chase and will bid closer to £20M.

In short, there is just no way Morelos can play tomorrow if these stories are true, and we’ll be shocked if they’re not, because Rangers won’t risk injury on his part and the subsequent transfer fee.
The reality is the Colombian’s time in Glasgow finally draws to a close, and until the fee is agreed, Rangers will be extremely unlikely to risk him – who would for a fee in the £20M range?

Morelos wants his move, is now on record as waiting for it, and Rangers want the right price.

They stated publicly they expect the same as Celtic got for Dembele – and that’s a reasonable figure. After all, having rejected earlier bids from Lille, it’s clear Rangers are playing hardball, as well they should.

And we can expect other clubs to bid too.

With Lille making an official move, the wheels have finally set in motion for Morelos’ exit – but the question is whether Gerrard can afford starting an unhappy wantaway player who’s worth close to £20M.

We’d imagine not.

I bet he thinks his Castwhore tap's landing on his doorstep in the morning. As i say they believe, they hope then real life meets them and kills them.

Todays dream, is tomorrows nightmare. When you actually believe,, you end up crying.

Todays Transfer shocker has massive implications for Rangers

Today’s confirmed sale of Mauro Icardi is an absolute shocker. Not because a team has signed a player, no no…

No, it’s a shocker because a number of weeks ago it was assumed player values had fallen, and teams would not be able to afford the ‘old’ prices. This had knock on effect for Rangers selling the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Borna Barisic, at more like £5M-£10M tops than the previously expected £15M-£25M.

No, Mauro’s departure to PSG from Inter for around £54M at the age of 27 (and Gareth Bales’s mooted move to Newcastle from Real which is proposed around the same value) confirms the predictions about football seeing sense and transfer prices normalising were absolute poppycock, and fantasy football prices remain alive and well despite all that’s happened the past two or three months.

ADVERTISING

While Morelos’ market value probably isn’t ‘as’ high as it got during his career peak of November, there is absolutely no reason this kid won’t net Rangers a hefty sum after all, given market value has remained surprisingly stable and is certainly on the rise as we speak. While it might not get to that stunning level it attained around late last year, Rangers can certainly demand well above £15M for the Colombian, and probably closer to £20M+.

As for the Croat, his sale is being less hyped, but is just as inevitable. Roma still want him, and a Croat international of his reputation and Europa League (and national) form remains as valuable as he did before.

While for a time he was looking like he could break the record set by Celtic for Kieran Tierney in the same position, he certainly will still go for a hefty amount and Rangers can probably consider him the prize asset overall, with his sale in the region of slightly more than his Colombian team mate.

But the point is simple. Despite all we’ve been through, it’s clear that football has learned nothing, financially speaking, and the staggering price for Icardi demonstrates that Rangers, paradoxically, will benefit from that when it comes to shipping out the star players when the rich boys come calling.

And that works for us
........................

The only rich boys that will come calling will be the fckn debtors.....you can take that to the bank 👍

Poor wee Coco, he truly believes the word of Graham. the new Jabba.
Rangers braced for bidding war for £25M man

I know what your thinking, not another Alfrodo whimsy , but no, no, it's this guy.
He continues.

PL giants Leeds and Spurs are reportedly locking horns to secure Borna Barisic, after the in-form LB continued to impress teams both south of the border and continentally.

And then this.

The value of Rangers’ prize Croat would be in line with what Celtic earned for theirs, in the £25M secured for Kieran Tierney who swapped Parkhead for the Emirates, and like with Colombian Alfredo Morelos, Rangers will not let Barisic go for the pathetic £8M some outlets are claiming.

Dream on Coco
It seems that there are dissenting voices coming through the staunchness.
A little insight to the mindset.
Coco confusion?
We asked why there was so much downtrodden negativity, and we were surprised by this response by an Ibrox Noise regular, who will remain anonymous.

Love it when poor Coco can't understand why Slippy wouldn't get a negative critique. I think we all know.

PS: What the FK does downtrodden negativity mean.o_O:unsure:

Downtrodden negativity? What does it mean?
Are the downtrodden negative about their predicament? ""I'm a daft sevconian, the board laughs at us and robs us, the Feinians at the SFA rule Scotland, the anti Protestant songs we never hear, the SNP, 10 in a row, the unseen Feinian boots and Mike Ashley that keep us down trodden....oh woe is me! this is shite, WATP and its all shite a we're shite and I'm depressed at the thought of ten. That is downtrodden negativity I think.

I've got some spare commas and full stops I could lend that cretin.
And regardless off punctuation Coco carries on.
Coco's dream turns to the indescrbable, even bordering breakdown. Gary says Ryan is kockking on the England door, mainly because Gareth likes to pick young Lads and Kent is 23. Now Coco is getting beyond it. Jurgen Klopp must be thinking , why?, why did i let him go.
Did Jurgen Klopp ‘make a mistake’ with Rangers deal?

As Jurgen Klopp sits there with a PL title, one of the best Liverpool sides in history and a CL title to his credit at Anfield too, we doubt he’s losing a lot of sleep over selling Ryan Kent.

With the Mane Firminho Salah trident at their disposal, not even Messi could get in there because when he was ‘available’, Liverpool weren’t even interested.

So, we strongly suggest Klopp isn’t desperately leafing through the sales contract to find clauses in the deal to get Kent back.

But as the 23-year old winger tears up both the SPL and Europa League amidst increasing calls for him to be considered in an England light, we do start to wonder if this is one of the rare times where arguably the world’s best football manager might actually have made a bad judgment call.
We don’t for a second think Kent is good enough to be a Liverpool regular, at least, not yet, but then would Celtic fans ever have envisaged this level of attainment from Virgil Van Dijk?

But we certainly think Klopp may just have one tiny piece of attention now on the progress of the lad, following Leeds’ interest and continuing focus down south in his services, and while he won’t regret selling him, perhaps he might have considered him good enough to use more and show more attention to.
Let’s face it, Kent is one rare occasion where Klopp’s legendary man-management skills let him down – he didn’t treat him great, and didn’t have any time for him.

He saw nothing in the kid and sent out cryptic messages on his future. Then the ‘we’re not sending Kent or Wilson back out on loan’ before sending Wilson to Bournemouth on loan and still refusing a Rangers return for Kent.

In the end, it’s turned out to be a wonderful £7.5M spent by Rangers, money we said at the time that we couldn’t spend but simply had to on the kid, so it’s worked out fantastically for Steven Gerrard and his men, but while we can’t call PL and UCL title winner Jurgen Klopp a ‘loser’ in all of this, we do wonder if perhaps he considers he misjudged the lad.

One can only ponder.

Firstly Jurge never "pondered" Kent in the first place. Coco, Jurgen Klopp has no thoughts about what he may of had. Coco dream on about the bounties that Sevco will never have.
