With some countries already starting to relax rules and letting people have more freedom I'm more worried than ever. Spain allowed children to go out yesterday for 1st time in 6 weeks. That same 24hr period recorded a rise in related deaths. It only takes a few to take us back to where we began and my feeling is that countries are beginning to put their economies before our welfare. This battle has hardly begun.

FIFA have now said that national associations can allow teams to make 5 substitutions in a match for the next couple of years. This is to allow players recovering fitness after the long lay-off and due to the anticipated increased number of matches squeezed into a short period of time. This would be 3 in-play subs as just now and 2 at half-time.

This would be an excellent chance to blood some of our fantastic youngsters when we finally get going again.

The amount of deaths and particularly those of NHS staff are a sad indictment on a supposedly rich nation in the 21st century. Smaller countries have given us a right showing up.
