Would have and should have been a treble if it had not been for the village idiot, but I am happy about the Double. Thanks to Martin and his coaching staff. Now we wait for this week to see who the tash chooses to be manager. I would not be unhappy to see Mon in the job for a year to create the new squad for the future.

For the Bhoys to win the last 9!!!!! games of the season complete a League and Cup double after the ..... we ALL have given them myself included....
Demonstrates what we ALL must learn about getting behind the team and manager next season whoever the manager is....all the way through to the end....
As for the 'BOARD' lets see how the summer transfers in and out go.....
Hopefully ..... they have got the message....
as like it or not we are stuck with them for now.....

Even my optimism was stretched this season. We achieved a tremendous double. 5 in a row. We must strengthen this summer. We must recruit better players. Do I trust the Board? Hell no. If MON wants the job for next year I would give it to him. We need to go for 6 in a row. It can be done.
 
Like a lot of others i didnt think we would push on to win the league this season. A season of highs and lows and the lows looked to have killed off our hopes. The Board/DD looked to have sabotaged our season with many of their decisions, thankfully the guys that pull on the jersey didnt get the memo. Not our most talented squad by a fair way but they never gave up, much to the dismay of the MSM and huns, both big and small. As the sayin goes, When the going gets tough.........HH
