Euro 2020 - Scotland

No, but Englands do differ from Scotland..... That's the reason they based themselves there
Actually the reason we are based down there is because we were so late at securing qualificstion that all of the usual places Scotland would hire were already booked by foreign teams. The closest place best suited for training, meeting, isolation, Covid restrictions, etc, was in Middlesbrough. As it turned out the foreign teams cancelled their bookings here in Scotland just before the tournament as they were concerned about Covid here and thought it safer to fly in for the games.

They refused to use Scotland training based because of our rules in isolation and how they differ elsewhere
Apparently we have the strictest close contact rules so they felt that they could be without half their squad if one player was confirmed positive

Aye let's get it over with. Then we can go back to supporting every team that England play. It's by far more rewarding. ;)

Really enjoyed watching that. A terrific team performance. Don't think there was a passenger anywhere on the park in Scotland's colours. Take note Ange !

Confession time. The last time I actually forked out to watch a Scotland match was way back in 1966, ( aye THAT year ). It was Scotland v Brazil. I wanted to see a Brazilian player by the name of Edson Arantes do Nascimento. Quite a player he was too. The world got to know him better as Pele !.... Score ended 1-1.

The scorer of Scotland's goal went on to secure his own place in the history of our club in 1967. A bloke by the name of Steve Chalmers.......you know the rest.
