I'll miss this one, will be flying over the Atlantic en route to New York when the game is on. Not expecting anything, 2 teams struggling for any form but they have home advantage and we are generally poor away in Europe.
Don't think MON will make many changes, if any

Schmeichel
Donovan Trusty Scales KT
Engels McGregor
Nygren Balikwisha Tounekti
Maeda
Subs Sinisalo Doohan Ralston Murray McCowan Hatate Bernardo Kenny Yang and I think that's all we have fit and available.

Hoping when I turn my phone on a JFK airport that I get a surprise but doubt it, even a draw would be a good result.

Something tells me you might be the lucky one missing this game.
It's one we could be doing without given the limited squad.
You always hope of course but not expecting too much here.

We're just going to have to use these games as damage limitation.
A win... brilliant.
A draw... Acceptable.
A slim defeat...ok
A rout....sack the board, an fuck Rodgers anaw an his horseshoe.

I would go with a lineup like Gary, but I expect Ralston will be given the nod and Reo will somehow continue to be selected despite being very poor for months now. I'd play McCowan.

I hope we just do not get humiliated, but I have a sneaky feeling we will come home unbeaten, with a draw or even a win.

It is only a couple of months since we were trying persuade ourselves that the Europa League was probably more our level. Now it looks like being an unnecessary distraction, but we must treat it seriously. There is the chance to win prize money and we need to boost our coefficient for future competitions (or Tommy will kick their arses).

One or six things for our temporary M@S duo to ponder for Thursday night..

RB position...which of the 3 stoogies get selected for the statue impersonation competition in mid field...

And who is gonna fire us up upfront ...is Kel back??do we risk him??..

Anyhoo I'd be picking the following..

Kasper..

Tony Trusty Liam KT..

Cal Arne Benny..

Yang Daizen Seb....

As I said that would be my side but I'm more an Aldi coach than an M@S one...

Going for 2 v 1 us...Benny and Kenny....

Good luck to all the bhoys and Ghirls travelling..

I think Yang has to start with Daizen through the centre.

I would also start McCowan, as neither Balikwisha or Nygren are physically competitive enough for me in what will be a physically demanding game…

Good news about Iheancho and Saracchi, but let's not risk them in this encounter. Unless it is a run out later on to start to build up their match fitness. I hate when we rush back players far too early and they reinjure themselves and end up missing for an even longer time.

Saracchi's return will help Wilf if he wants to play his preferred 3-4-2-1, he is the most natural left wing back we have at the club and would allow KT to play as the left sided centre back in a three
