Started in the early hours of this morning with a 0-0 draw between Al Ahli and Inter Miami. Second game about to start, live on Channel 5, Bayern v Aukland City. Stadium in Cincinnati isn't even half full. Players are introduced individually and come come out themselves and not as a team. Weird.
Tournament seems like a vanity project for the corrupt Infantino, funded by the Saudis its a huge exercise in sports washing for Infantino's paymasters.
 
I caught the last hour of this morning's game. It was actually a very entertaining watch. Inter Miami goalie played a blinder including a great penalty save.

An Al Ahady defender had possibly the best goal line save I have even seen.

I'm not sure what good this does for world football having 10-0 thrashing. Ticket sales have been awful with fans with tickets having their seats forceably moved to the stand opposite the main cameras. And studenten were offered tickets for last nights opener - buy 1 tickets for $3.50 and get 3 free tickets!
 
Boca v Benfica game was a cracker last night. Proper old school tackles, ref waving play on, players squaring up, sendings off and some good attacking football and goals. Finished 2-2.
Boca fans took over Miami yesterday and there was over 50k at the game.

2 good games out of 7 so far (PSG v Atletico the other one).

Chelsea game was utter boredom in a stadium less than a third full. Switched that off after about half an hour

Watched a good bit of that game last night and whilst there was some patches of decent play, overall the spoiling tactics ruined it for me and I'd like to see both teams heavily fined for their treatment of the idiot with the whistle..

Not the game I love I'm afraid..

Don't mind a bit of shithousery (as long as we are not involved), makes a change from the sanitised non contact sport they are trying to make the game.
