I think a wee while back someone had a "go" at Frank. Well I loved him and ain't afraid to say that I was Frank as a kid when I played footie in the park in the early 80s.

Yes charlie was more popular and probably a better dancer, but I won't hear a bad word against Frank. Some great goals, those flailing arms, not a pass from Charlie and he still got over 100 goals for Celtic. His last goal in the Scottish cup final at Hampden 1985 - I was there!!!

His autobiography is one the saddest but most honest books I've read. I'm sure we're all socialist, but the tax in those days was brutal and a lot of the rest of his money went to the bookies. The book's great!!

Underated striker we never hear much about as was Brian McClair, both easily knew the road to the goals. Was also at the final the amazing header and the Aitken ( turned winger for a minute) cross.

Need to watch this, 5 legends gathered in a radio station. We need to cherish what they gave to us no one is bigger than the club we follow and that includes the money men, this interview is what this club was created for and is all about, the people who supported and believed in it and the unity they kept and bond, to be a club with a difference.
When this pandemic lifts the palyers and fans better appreciate what Celtic stands for and we need to get back to what the ethos is.

Wiz there with my dad. A very underestimated guy.
good memory Stevie, was demented and then we got the free kick, stood on the old sloped stairs making my way to the exits for the rush, and bang, foul to Celtic, Provans free kick back in the game and from the top of the stairs swept down in the celebrations to were i had came from, then that magic moment Big Roy out my way and perfect cross to Frank McGarvie the only guy to head a ball in that fashion he could twist his body into any shape, and as they say the rest is history.
