Excellent article sadly blemished by the mention of a BMX.

All the cool kids had Raleigh Choppers...

Choppers were pish for wheelies and flying jumps. Bunny hoppers etc.

Grifter

heavy fkr nobody could steal

I had a grifter too and a bmx. The grifters brakes were a fkn nightmare whilst the bike was indeed a heavy fkr the brakes were too stiff and my delicate hands couldnt make them work.

Many a time i went flying down a hill hit the kerb and flew over the pavement fence and fkn hedges landing in randoms gardens all the time ???
