Gaza attacked again.

I see the Palestinians of Gaza been attacked again by Israeli Air force. When is this gong to end and its about time there were sanctions put on Israel for continuing a conflict that does no side any good whatsoever. What are your thoughts fellow celts. HH

IMO Israel controls the middle East backed by America and western allies. America backing Israel in whatever way it wants to control Palestine smacks of American fear. You forget it was Britain that set up Israel as that part of the world was under British control until 1947. In the years previous to that the Jews were then described as the Terrorists. Funny how America has conveniently forgotten how the Nation of Israel came into existence.

You cannot try a Country. You need individuals to bring to Court. It is a strange world and twist of the human psyche that the abused often turn into abusers. No easy answers to this.

There is a solution to this, Israel needs to withdraw to its 1967 border like the UN resolution tells it to. Then they need to close the settlements which are illegal under international law. Remember what happened to Saddam when he ignored UN resolutions? At the UN the whole world votes against Israel apart from two nations, Britain and America. Why is that?
The slow and brutal genocide of the Palestinian people can be laid at the door of three nations, Israel, U.K.and the US.
Who could or would accept what the Palestinians are asked to accept?

Palestine was effectively invaded by a hostile force when the new state of israel was decreed 46/47.

My feelings on israel have not been defined by my support of Celtic or my Catholicism.

It has been defined by the fact that it was a hostile land-grab ably assisted by the US and UK governments of the time.

Since the land-grab initiative.......israel has lay with the most corrupt regimes in the world and has partaken in atrocities against thousands upon thousands of Palestinians in Gaza.

Nethanhayu and Sheron are right up there with Mugabe, Pol Pot and Amin as far as genocidal maniacs go.

Ally you are spot on.......Israel is a nuclear nation with enough atomic megatonnes to split the world apart 5 times over. If their Arab enemies ever decided to hold israel to account, then I have no doubt it would spark another holocaust, only this time it would be of the nuclear variety.

The world is a scary place at the moment......any one of the idiots who had access to the nuclear codes provides a clear and present danger to the entire planet.
