Just watched the Irish lad take gold. Well done.
Also had a Swedish 100m sprinter called Henrik Larsson run this morning. Didn't qualify for finals though, unfortunately.

Haven't watched much of the Games, but happy to see Ireland doing well. Summer McIntosh the Toronto teenager won gold in swimming, and two Canadians just won silver and bronze in the 100 metre butterfly, way to go boys. I'm watching Canada play Germany right now, at the fitba, the girls deserve to get to the final at least, after their fucking coach and staff tried to cheat by having a drone fly over New Zealand's training facility. The team knew nothing about it, and gained no advantage, but the IOC in their 'infinite wisdom' deducted 6 points from the Canadian team. But our girls are made of sterner stuff and have won the next two games to regain the 6 points. Celtic should sign their left back, Buchanan, she's a tough tackler and has the stamina to run all day ;-) Mon the Maple Leafs !!!

Got to hand it to the Canadian soccer girls for their effort in the quarter finals against the Germans. Under pressure in the first half, they took it to the Germans in the second, and but for some poor finishing they would have gone through, but the penalty shoot out was the difference as the German keeper made 2 saves, and eventually scored the winner to send them through to meet the USA girls. the USA have a good team and I hope they win it now that we are out. A few more medals for the Frozen North, Mon the ice cube !!!
