Great idea from scotcel. A large, white, blank banner along with no clapping gets the message across powerfully, worldwide, for the cameras that will be focused solely on the fans. It's still a protest and shows dignity and class which happen to be two great attributes our manager has in abundance. And this is the thing for me. It's oor Ange who has to answer the questions from the SMSM pre and post-match and you can be as sure as That Other Mob getting more penalties that there will be a queue of journalists longer than the one in London GAGGIN to get his reaction to anything they call distasteful. I know he is more than capable of handling them but I think that, if he had the choice, he'd rather not be put in the position of having to comment on chants/banners etc.
But a blank banner and silence?

Journalist: "So, Ange, a very peaceful protest by the Celtic fans. I hoped, sorry, thought, it would go the other way?"
Ange: "Did you mate, yeah? You're ragin aren't you mate?"

Regardless of what the fans do today. The media will have their knifes sharpened. Fuck sake, they criticised us for putting 9 past united as disrespectful. No matter what happens today, Ange will get hammered with loaded questions and the fans will be slated in tomorrow's papers.
We are lucky that Ange has class and is switched on to it....and we are lucky that we know the media are not our friends and we shouldn't want to try keep them happy. Fuck the MSM. They will attack us no matter what we do. I hope, after all the negative shit we are about to be hammered with, the Celtic board take action and ban them!!
