GREG TAYLOR

Taylor’s problem was his lack of height and a lot of opposition sides exploited that
I would agree with that. Long diagonal balls over his head or crosses to the back post where he was trying to cover. Plus, our style of play often leaves our defenders exposed to breakaways. We do not play with a defensive midfielder, encourage both full backs to charge forward. I've said it so many times before, play 3 at the back with 4 in midfield for most of our games. It is a more solid backline and gets an extra skillful player into midfield.

I always felt Greg would have been a good option as holding midfielder in our bigger games as he was best when playing the inverted FB role. So play him there and also a LB if we are going to insist on starting with a 4-3-3.
