I have not had a look at the follow follow train of thought but I can imagine the line being spun to explain why Brora deserve it but Celtic don't. Is the Highland league the first league in Europe to declare the leading team is the champion? They must have UEFA blessing to do this. It's a precedent. We will probably have to wait till the end of May for the SFA to admit that the season cannot be started again let alone finished by June 30th. Foloow the rules. Follow the precedent.

And I can confirm that both of these teams voted that it was only fair that Brora were declared winners based on the average points won per game.
However this was not applied across the whole league as Inverurie Locos who are currently second but have played 5 or 6 games more (but can't catch Brora) would drop from 2nd to 5th and they are worried about cup places allocated to the Highland League next season!
I don't have the money but I would love someone on air to call Boyd, Ferguson and Rae's bluff and say I'll bet each one of you a grand that when the league resumes Celtic will be champions, if you are so confident it wont happen, wheres your money?Brora awarded Highland League title early
