Is the real reason the SFA are ignoring morelos throat cutting gesture the length of ban he would get

If as has been rumoured the Morelos (and kent) gestures are to be ignored by the SFA .
Why would this be done ,the gestures were made and the evidence is clear , Morelos was in fact cautioned for gesturing to the crowd only weeks before ,were he was yellow carded ,although the rules say gesturing is a red card offence.

It seems he is out for 3 matches ,1 match for the red card v us ,1 match for Scottish cup partly due to last seasons cards and 1 additional match for being sent of already this season .

If he was to receive another red for his gesture would the ban have to be at least 5 games .

Something stinks in this saga and if it is to avoid giving him a further two game ban , is there much difference to this and what J Farry did in the infamous Cadette affair .

Disciplinary Rule allegedly breached: Disciplinary Rule 204 -
All Clubs and recognised football bodies shall procure that its officials, Team Staff, employees and players conduct themselves in an orderly fashion at all times during and/or after a match. In particular, Clubs and recognised football bodies are responsible for ensuring that its officials, Team Staff, employees and players refrain from any one or a combination of the following: (a) becoming involved in a confrontation (b) conduct that is likely to lead to or to exacerbate or prolong a hostile or argumentative situation with players and/or team staff from the opposing team and/or match officials (c) conduct that may otherwise incite disorder.
 
Cautionable Offences
B1 Unsporting Behaviour There are different circumstances when a player must be cautioned for unsporting behaviour which include, but are not limited to, when a player:

a) Impedes an opponent with contact
b) Recklessly trips or attempts to trip an opponent
c) Recklessly tackles or challenges an opponent
d) Recklessly kicks or attempts to kick an opponent
e) Denies an opponent an obvious goal scoring opportunity as defined by Law 12
f) Holds or pushes an opponent
g) Commits an offence which interferes with or stops a promising attack outwith the penalty area
h) Excessively celebrates the scoring of a goal as defined by Law 12
i) Handles the ball deliberately
j) Shows a lack of respect for the game
k) Commits an act of simulation
l) Commits any other offence(s) deemed by a match official to be unsporting behaviour
B2 Dissent by Word or Action
B3 Persistently offending against Laws of the Game
B4 Delaying the restart of play
B5 Failing to respect the required distance at restart of play
B6 Entering or re-entering or deliberately leaving the field of play without the refereeā€™s permission


nowhere in that list off yellow card offences is gestures listed ,it is however listed in the previous post of red card offences
