His issues could be down to bone fragments or suchlike in the kneejoint. Cleaning the debris out could leave him less prone to injury and pain in future. He's a good defender when fit so hopefully he comes back stronger and more durable.

An arthroscopy is a keyhole surgery on a joint. It is minimal and wonderful surgery and is useful for removing debris from a joint that can get 'stuck in the rollers'. If successful Jozo can be playing again in perhaps six weeks.

Had both knees done about 5yrs ago got them done, not sore but knee feels stiff for a few days, then after 4wks you can do light work, I was back jumping oan & aff the lorry like a young man.
