Using the club website we have 23 players listed in the first team, 11 players out on loan and 6 B team players who have played for the first team. A busy summer ahead, with hopefully several new faces arriving so who should we keep, look to move on, or loan out for experience

KEEPERS
Kasper Schmiechel - Keep, but need to monitor his fitness following injury
Viljami Sinisalo - Keep, should be number 1 by the end of next season if not sooner
Scott Bain - Free Transfer, replacement already lined up

DEFENDERS
Alistair Johnston - Keep, vital part of the defence
Anthony Ralston - Keep, we're not going to get another international full back happy to be a squad player
Greg Taylor - Time to move on. Great servant, good player, especially inverting but need someone more like KT to be back up to KT
Jeffrey Schlupp - Return to sender
Cameron Carter-Vickers - Keep, although the rumours are that he may move on
Austin Trusty - Keep and hope the domestic away form matches the form he showed in Europe.
Liam Scales - Sell. With KT returning, and the fact he can play LCH, then cash in on Scales.
Maik Nawrocki - Sell. Not getting used so no point in keeping him

MIDFIELDERS
Calum McGregor - Keep, but start managing his game time in order for him to be at his peak when we need him
Reo Hatate - Sell, if the price is right. Infuriatingly inconsistent but our most creative/dynamic midfielder when on his game. Would be pleased if he stayed though
Arne Engels - Keep. Looking for him to kick on next season and be a crucial member of the starting eleven
Paulo Bernardo - Sell, if the price is right. Like Hatate not upset if he stays
Luke McCowan - Keep. Good squad player who contributes when required. Could be doing with another couple of squad players like him.

FORWARDS
Daizen Maeda - Keep. Of all those who will be linked with moves away Daizen is the one we can least afford to lose.
Adam Idah - Keep. With a good pre season behind him hopefully has a better season than 20 goals
Jota - Keep. Will be badly missed until his return in January
Nicolas Kuhn - Sell. Cash in whilst we can
James Forrest - Keep, see if we can get him to 29 winners medals next season
Yang - Sell. Not good enough
Jonny Kenny - Keep, hopefully see a bit more of him next season

B TEAMERS
Dane Murray - Loan. He needs to play regular football, he needs to show he can stay fit over a period of time
Mitchell Frame - Loan out for experience
Jude Bonnar - Loan out for experience
Francis Turley - Loan out for experience
Daniel Cummings - Leaving
Sean McArdle - Probably loan out for experience but if one of the B team is to be promoted to first team then its him.

LOAN PLAYERS
Gustav Lagerbielke - Sell, should get our money back after a good season in Eredivisie
Luis Palma - Sell
Stephen Welsh - Sell, interest in him from Belgium
Marco Tilio - Sell
Kwon - Sell
Tobi Olumayemi - Out of contract, leave
Matthew Anderson - Out of contract, will probably leave
Ben Summers - Sell
Adam Montgomery - Out of contract, leave
Lenny Agbaire - Loan out again
Odin Holm - With LAFC until end of the year

SELL
Bain - he is a good influence in dressing room, but his replacement is lined up.

Kühn - I think those rumours of him wanting away in January have merit. An excellent player but his attitude isn't right.

Yang - I like him and he did play better for a while once he started playing with his head up, but has dropped off again.

Lagerbielke, Palma, Tilio, Welsh, Kwon & Holm - they clearly have no future with us, except maybe Palma as cover for Jota.

Do we keep Reo or not Gaz as 50 says is that a typo.
I’d Keep Kuhn as some extra cover for Jota as he’s got a great partnership with AJ which he could easily replicate with KT.
I also think Schlupp will return as a back up player BR likes him.
Hope we get Lennon Miller in as Cals long term replacement.
I’ve always liked Yang his work rate is excellent but his problem for me is the cutting in bit I think he’s an old fashioned byline player and that’s not what BR wants so I think he’ll go.

Keep,punt, sell.here is the players id sell. Trusty Scales Nawrocki Bernardo Kuhn Idah Yang . Id like to see more of young Kenny and McArdle given game time. Time for Kasper to Leave as we have Sinsalo as no 1. All our players out on loan should go as well.

Johnston(M) Ralston CCV Nawrocki Scales Murray.....
I suspect there will be interest in Johnston and CCV.....Rocki will probably be sold wrongly imo. Murray's development has to be this season.

Calmac Hatate Engels McCowan McArdle...again development for the young bhoy.
Hatate will want away imo.

Maeda(M) Idah ,Jota ,Forrest & Kenny

Trusty Lagerbeilke Welsh Bernardo Holm Kwon Palma Khun Yang Tilio....Khun will want away the rest aren't good enough.
Frame Bonnar and Turley (L)

Trusty will probably stay.....Bernardo not bothered imo ...Kuhn will want away.

Alot of work to do but probably only get half of that type of movement as we don't really do a big refresh and the board may well hedge their bets once again on CL qualification so incoming will probably drag its heels.
 
I see a few are saying sell Bernardo I get this
But I also think he was starting to play well for us last season then injury which has taken him quite a long time to recover from.
He will also be a load better with a full preseason behind him imo.
So he’s a keeper for me

I’d sell CCV for the right price and keep Rocki at RCB (where Brendan says he ahould play). This shouldn’t be controversial… it’s how we do business! Rocki, bar one error for a goal, has been good when he’s started.

I still have hopes for Yang.

The loanees out can all go.

Agree the rest of the original post really, although Trusty tries my patience, and Kuhn can naff off for downing tools when he didn’t get his move in January.

Our real problem, with Europe in mind, is developing home grown players. Playing a team in the Lowland League is clearly a waste of time.

CalMac benefited from his early loan to Notts C. Kenney latterly in Ireland.

It’s an indictment of Scottish Football generally that there isn’t a better tournament for younger/squad players! 🙄
