The support are mixed when it comes to BR as a football manager, but I'll give BR something, he's a world class operator in front of the media.
Today he said enough without going OTT.
Many things i took out of that interview today and i haven't yet seen it.
I did notice that Calmac's was out quite a few hours before BR's, media dept, must have needed consent from somewhere.

On Nicholson and McKay - 'They're good honest guys, in on XMAS day etc'
My take - 'They're the wrong guys to be blaming, they're employee's who do what they're told'
Incidentally i was the .1% that voted in the survey not to chase McKay, he's a fucking numbers guy, what has an accountant got to do with a transfer window'

I was saying to my mate earlier, the only time Rodgers really had to be a manager was in his first year back. A year or so since then, we've got rid of nearly all the shite Lawwell JNR signed and for a while up till that XMAS, we were in a title race. But once we went behind in the title race, something changed, he came out swinging and created a siege mentality, we weren't much better than the previous 6 months performance wise, but we never lost another game, we bossed it. He bossed it.

People often blame him for performances, but i've often thought when we win or lose, he likely does fuck all different in the dressing room. He knows in SPL, he has better players than anycunt else, all they have to do is perform and sometimes they don't.
While some are screaming at him, me i think, we're far better than them and theres fuck all a manager can do other than prepare them. When they don't turn up, they don't turn up.

His tactics get questioned often, he has a way of playing and it works for the most part.
Sometimes it doesn't and thats down to players and poor decisions.
Fcuk last year we got fucked aff Dortmund and he got slaughtered.
A few months later we nearly beat Bayern over 90 mins, not once did i hear tactics mentioned.
No, they were the same as always, it's just that we did it better that night than other nights.

I think BR has the bit between his Joey Barton teeth and he has a point to prove.

He'll guide us to another easy title and if he stays i'll be delighted cos then he'll have got the budget he and we crave to imrpove.

If he leaves, he will leave with my best wishes.

If it was down to me, i wouldn't have let him through the front door again.
But this second spell has crystallised in my mind 2 things, he left in a huff first time around frustrated with a board that has no interest in pushing the team forward.
2nd thing, he's as good a manager as we'll get at the level we're operating at and he'd be here for a decade if he saw the slightest ambition

I think big pete was the only one of substance behind the scenes that Brendan didn't mention...as a wise man once said......hmmm.

Time to whack the mole me thinks....

The big problem being we will lose a voice at the European table...but I'd be happy enough with that..

Mutual consent required here DD..fix the mess before it grows arms and legs ..

For all the good lawell at the big tables done us?…get him gone……his son getting pumped was all self inflicted and he probably holds a grudge against Rodgers…it was self indulgent on his part…he needs to go now.

Kasper won't be dropped - he hasn't conceded a goal yet this season. Tomorrow is about getting the result first and foremost. There will be plenty games to give him starts this season. My concern is CCV & KT holding up on that abomination of a pitch.
 
It will be interesting to see the outcome of the Huns vs the Minis. The Huns are a shambles at the minute so if Bloom has any aspirations of finishing between us and them then now is the time to show it. Roll over again and you can forget it Tony. Although I would be happy to see the Minis win I’d also be pissed that we we couldn’t beat them when Bloom’s Boys could.
