I'm by no means a number cruncher or statistician but I'm sure you'll be aware that as soon as you start using stats, there's virtually no end to where they can take you. You could drill down deeper than the ocean floors taking into account all sorts of variables.

My eyes (like yours before the stat attack) tell me that we're playing crap and there's a huge problem with the team.

Mark Twain's old adage of lies, damn lies and statistics is one I happen to believe in.

I've liked the site and enjoy reading it..... might be playing shite but we're only 2 points behind where we have been in previous seasons. Only because Sevco are above us that there is a full on panic.
