Seems we've gaun all in on the refit's gonnae be the gamechanger that turbocharges the season! Yaaayyyyy! 🍺 🥳
To be fair, it is probably a good idea to encourage players to socialise together in these strange times of social distancing. But it should have been low key and done behind closed doors without any fanfare and only mentioned as a positive factor at the end of a successful season after winning 10IAR.

Instead it being trumpeted just now as a phenomenal step forward just screams deflection and rubbing the noses of hacked off fans in it. Another PR miscalculation by our management team.

You are spot on BB.
This idea began in the hospitals called chill out rooms for medical staff working on the front line. It came about as many of the staff were dealing with death from coronavirus on a daily basis and the staff were working really long hours and were exhausted mentally and physically and just needed somewhere to sit quietly in the midst of what must have been horrendous.
I hardly think footballers need this kind of facility as a result of training separately and especially Celtic FC. This imo was an error of judgement to release this and a deflection blaming covid19 and the players for the state of play.

Its not a very good excuse and it highlights a poor contingency set of systems with proactive management.

However, although it doesn't excuse the form it is a genuine potential area of improvement to gel the team a bit better off the pitch in an approved environment complying with legal requirements.

Pandemic is not an excuse but it is a unique factor that may have contributed to less than team building off field.

we have a number of new players and a number of foreign players not quite in the celtic grove.

Other clubs have same issues, but would you trust msm to highlight them breaking rules in team building nights out?

I bet they would protect the horde and castigate anybody else.

Birthday party anyone?

Anything that club can do to gel team in every way necessary is welcome.

But its not the crucial dimension of the team failures imo

that is rank rotten tactics and poor communications and contradictory public opinions from one game to next of a bipolar nature.

im not sure he blamed it

he was directly asked how club are attempting to deal with covid issues

he answered

its being spun by horde as if he said reason we are gash is covid.

its a factor and its unique factor for football at club with lot of foreigners and new players thrown into the melting pot

But it was demanded of by fans too, since keeping same players being portrayed as cheap option by msm

had we kept Hayes when people screaming no good enough- cheap option

bring in elyounousi again on monster wage didn't really improve on Hayes imo

certainly not in work ethic and love for club.

big Simunovic -injury prone but probably just as good as monster wage duffy, but again it would been seen as not solving the cb issues keeping him

get Soro in was cry

still haven't seen him since he must not be any better than brown playing gash

get Turnbull in was the cry but again he aint better than Rogic or christie

needed a right back we frimpong looked fancy but he doesn't seem to be improving his awareness or his passing despite lots of game time

the cry was give youth a chance

its not really helping this season though imo

get boli out was the cry

we got good loan player but he doesn't speak much English so thats problem to solve

we have lots of strikers now and 1 slot in system, thats always an issue for the guys not getting games

cal mc not played in his best position

bitton not played in best position

Taylor not played in best position

System doesn't suit our players talents imo

el hamed is not the rb answer but we cant really use him midfield since we have too many already

we dont buy players to suit the system he wants to play

we buy good players then change their position which is a time required risk

poor management through hubris and generally poor communications

And I still dont see that major issue being addressed by club

the website is premium and its worse than most free websites

tv commentary sucks ass

and when its just radio

the suck ass tv commentary as radio is taking piss

they dont describe the game in any meaningful way

its so biased the commentary that when you see what they talking about it has no real connection to reality of what they described.

generally club appears to be a cash cow

taking fans for granted and torpor hubris and lack of team ethic needs fixed

im no sure lawell or lennon are on the ball this season if ever

Today Lennon is quoted as saying “the hysteria and criticism is a lot worse this time. I don’t know why”. I think that says everything. Time to go.
“I've been in this position before,” he said. “I think the hysteria and criticism is a lot worse this time round, I don't know why. Maybe it's just the expectation, the significance of the season.

“You look at what you believe in. You have to be honest with yourself and ask: 'Is this working? Are you good enough? Have you got the tactical nous?’. Now down the line, I’ve won plenty of trophies, I’ve won a promotion, I’ve had a really difficult time in six months at Bolton which is well worse than anything I’ve experienced here. Again it makes you more rounded and gives you a sense of perspective.

Not quite I dont know full stop, next question please, besides the quotation doesn't have inverted commas at end so maybe he went into further detail but paper chose to make it look like.

I dont know

its called framing and subjective twisting of quotation to miss out context

Tbh, Celtic could sign klopp as manager , bring Ronaldo in as a striker, employ Megan Fox to dish out free blowies ,give every one of the players an extra leg and fans would still be down about it...... anything new is a positive right??

Ronny Deila was the first to call for an overhaul of Lennoxtown, wanted indoor facilities for the bitter winter days , didnt get it though. If we get an upgraded Lennoxtown that can only be good news. And the hotel can gtf
