Talks ? Now ?
If this is accurate then we should all be worried ! We are more than halfway through CL qualifying , we have played two ( impressive ) games in the League - and the people at Celtic are TALKING about the way ahead - NOW ?
All this should have been settled weeks /months ago .
Proper planning for each position of the team should have been a priority Before last season ended .
Planning for spending any big transfer money should have been a priority long before now .

Celtic supporters are expected to pay in advance for their season tickets for the new season and plan accordingly . Is it too much to expect the men at the top at the Club to have similarly planned out our strategy for buying/selling players long before the season has begun ?

Not having a replacement for KT is a real worry. Boli came in, isn’t a LB. why the delay? Why the delay in another RB? Why the delay in the four players Lenny said he needed? He’s revising that downward every time any cunt puts a mic to his face.

Everybody is getting the, oh fuck here we gin again, vibe. That’s utter shit considering the money bey we have. Now we are going for a young player for even less money than we paid for Hatem, another player who isn’t a natural RB.

We are playing a dangerous game. But our board seem to like that. The support however, are fucking sick to the back teeth with it.

Get your arses into gear for once you dithering cunts.

We don’t do things the ‘normal’ way ?could be because the KT money was not in the bank at the start ? if the funds are made available at this later stage ,good and well, am glad the English window is shut , overpriced ,second rate (on the bench ) type ,may be able to get a useful player or two from abroad , who knows ?hh

Much as I hate to do it, I have to quote the title of Trump's work of fiction: "The Art Of The Deal".

I think PL is very much a purveyor of brinksmanship and revels in the thought that he might undercut someone.

I hope I'm wrong because the deal-artist previously mentioned managed to conjure up $1 billion worth of losses in 10-years........that's almost squinty and minty material?

Just in, actual footage of Lawell and Desmond with the KT cash. With Lenny trying to scupper them.

Unfortunately our board have watched us win a treble treble without signing players we all knew we needed.
They saw the anger in the fans last season but they kept making money. Fans still turned up. Season tickets still sold.
Lawwell and the board got away with it before and they will probably get away with it again.

And to be fair it could be a win win for them. If they keep the league competitive that attracts more sponsors, which in turn makes them more cash in the long run......there is a reason they havent killed off the continuation and survival lie. It benefits them to have a "strong rangers" no matter what bullshit they feed us......in my opinion ofcourse 😁

"The Art Of The Deal" by Donald trump has got to be one of the best books I've read, regardless of what you think of his politics and whether you like him or not,for me he's one of the most interesting men on the planet.

Most of his business deals have been brilliant, even the ones were he failed and screwed banks, investors, and financial institutions were brilliant ( providing you weren't a victim of course )

His motto was screw them before they screw you and always use other peoples money and if you fail just start again, quite a good and simple philosophy if you can pull it off.

Remember the ones that invest in you only do so because they think they can make money off you,so if and when you fail you don't need to have a conscience about blowing their money, no investment comes risk free.

He must have got some of his deals right because without question he's one of the richest and most powerful men on the planet and it also looks like he's heading for a second term in the Whitehouse..so it's not only me that likes him but the American people seem to like him to.

HH. btw thanks for your comment on the other thread sp.

Am I the only Celtic fan that thinks Peter Lawwell is doing a great job ?. Wether we like it or not Fergus knew first and foremost our club had to operate as a business, even to the extent that is was not solely dependent on football revenue which is too erratic to predict ( Before you say fuck off,ask yourself if you would renew your season ticket next year if we failed to win the league this year ). I think Peter Lawwell and the board are committed custodians of Fergus's long term vision for Celtic. They already know ( as we should if we use our head instead of our heart ) that the current wage bill was unsustainable and in Lenny we have a manager who understands that.We should be looking at good Scottish talent rather than showbiz signings.I still say Taylor, ODonnell, Porteous and say Cosgrove along with Turnbull is the market we must operate in.Our essential goal every year ( because without it there is no Champions League ) has to be Win the SPL and in my humble opinion we need players who know the League to achieve it !! .
