Minute to relect and Remember Ebbe Skovdahl this Sunday

That is very sad news. Although his teams seemed to get thrashed by Celtic he was still highly thought of by Aberdeen fans (and Bronby fans too).

The company I work for used to sponsor the Aberdeen FC assistant managers and we had been invited to a small lunch in the boardroom at Pittodrie, but it was on the day Ebbe resigned. Me and my colleague had to dodge past the media to have linch with Gardner Speirs, Jim Leighton, Russell Anderson and the European Cup Winners Cup & other trophies. They were all devastated as they really loved him but accepted that his time was up and they had to move on as a club. We just missed him by minutes but he had made a point of saying goodbye to every single person in the building before leaving for the last time.

At least he is now at rest following a long battle with cancer and the Celtic family send his loved ones our best wishes. đź’š
