Nasty Nicola doing her best

Personally I think she's right...there's absolutely no way Celtic should be in Dubai just now....sends out the wrong signals IMO.....she's done an amazing job through covid.... particularly when you see how other countries have dealt with it
 
At the end of the day Nicola Sturgeon has a job to do and that is to prevent people from dying with Covid19 and putting pressure on the health staff who work in our healthcare system here in Scotland.

It’s easy to criticise her and call her names but she is more worried about this strain of the virus than the earlier one in a March. So maybe because of the 70% increase in transmission rates is cause for concern is the real reason she is questioning the logic of the Celtic team’s trip to Dubai.

I do not believe she would drawn into the complexities of Scottish football she will be looking on it as how it could have bearing on especially young people’s behaviour in abiding by the lockdown rules and making her job harder to keep the NHS staff safe and us safe too.

That's just drivel TT. Every time the woman makes a strong decision, other countries follow suit because so often she has tried to do what's best. As I've said, I'm not her biggest fan but I'd rather have her than red card Ross or Ruth the Mooth guide us through for they are only interested in how far up the greasy pole they can get.
 
Shammy , we will have to disagree on this , she has made some shocking decisions
1. Discharging hospital patients into care homes
2. Allowing university’s to go back
3. Not testing frontline nurses and doctors
4. Not closing schools
5. Closing COVID safe places and making youngsters socialise in unsafe spaces
6. Not closing the borders
To mention just a few , her cheap shots today at Celtic , and I do not agree with the Dubia trip although it was perfectly legal to do so are pandering to the lowest in society and trying to cover up her own mistakes

if she is doing a good job , why do we have one on the highest infection rates in the world , per head of population and also death rates

You say that but open your eyes...it's a big world out there...look who she is bound by..look at the constraints she is working under(Boris and his cronies)? She doesn't control the borders..look at other countries of similar size...Austria, Serbia, Denmark , Czechia, to name but a few....they are absolute disaster zones...even the north of this country is bordering on disaster....you should be glad you have a leader as strong as her taking you through this because my friend, others are far worse off than Scotland

Mibbe start looking more closely at students and their ongoing partys rather than football clubs who are sticking to the rules enforced by her own government. Another party at Glasgow Uni with over 150 people. Now that's worth publicity.

Docco , really not sure they are mate , Scotland has worked under its own rules , Nicola has made the rules , forget boris he has nothing to do with Scottish policy when it comes to COVID

The UK has everything to do with border control though...

In the North of Portugal the rate of infection here is something between 300-700 per 100,000.....there are hospitals at bursting point...the NHS here does not have anywhere near the same funding as Scotland does...people are being treated in tents and in some cases their cars...I have not received a penny from the social security even though I've been a tax payer for 12 years... I'm fortunate enough that I can for the foreseeable, ride this out but there are millions who cannot...we do our best but people are at breaking point.....my point stands that there are other countries in Europe and worldwide who are far worse off than Scotland and would love the Sturgeon to guide them through this...
