Who do you think will be the next permanent Celtic manager following on from MON's interim spell?

Martinez, unless he joins in a Director of Football role. If the Maloney/Martinez combo hasn't already been secured then maybe Robbie Keane will come in. It will be one of DD's Irish buddies or someone PL has in his filofax.

The old Bhoys' network will be relied rather than a rigorous recruitment strategy or proper due diligence.

I'm surprised Rory McIllroy isn't one of the options!

Might well be Ange? Assuming Oniel doesnt want it long term. I hope whoever they give it to that he knows Scottish football and can handle the pressure of job as well as manage team efficiently.

Sad to see Rodgers leave but his strategy was poor imo, and his not really giving shit press conferences was annoying me again. His results this season and tail end of last season was poor.

I suspect his body language and weird team selections was affecting players too.

Had he resigned when transfer window closed he would have had bigger impact on board.

Board needs to go too for bringing him back knowing he was potential trouble when he decided to rock boat.

Defo should have signed at very least 2 strikers before champions league match and 3 if they knew maeda wanted offski with the potential for unrest at blocking big wage move for any player.

Club needs fresh team running things imo.

Wouldnt be popular but id give one of Spfl manages a shot at job. Risky I know. If was betting man i suspect Ange will be back.

The Falkirk manager has decent experience and has range of strategies in his toolbox over the years. The reason I dont want big name manager is they want big name players and I dont see wage bill getting adjusted to afford big name players anytime soon.

But problem is could they handle pressures at Celtic if they arent big name manager?

Possibly not.

And I dont see fans being happy with Scottish based manager.

I liked Deila but most didnt,

Cant see big name manager taking it though unless they are unemployed atm and they probably only take it for big job elsewhere asap assuming they win lot of stuff.

Id laugh if they offered it to Strachan family management team.

Yeah could be Damien Duff...but if Martin gets us back on track we wont be able to shift Maloney.
