psychological warfare: "Have Sevco got the bottle? 1st Championship is the hardest"

How do we as a fan base react to those in blue now that we're chasing rather than being hunted?

Ifs and buts - Rangers players could all come down with covid (I'm not wishing it on anyone). They could have a injury crisis. They WILL have a dodgy patch (it's called a season after all). There is no need to panic, not in October. I would rather get our dodgy period out the way now, the covid stuff all done and dusted. It's called a season after all.

So I feel collectively as a fan base we need to all pull together and add the pressure onto them. Make them feel it, they have never won a championship.... and it's not easy. We need to collectively say this all the time to them:

It's your title to lose.
1st League trophy - No pressure.

If we constantly say it too them at every response it will start to add to the pressure....

We all know that Rangers have a good team (their European results have proven this) but what they haven't proved is 'have they the bottle?'.

So, all we constantly have to ask the,

"Have Sevco got the bottle? 1st Championship is the hardest"

Soon even the pundits and media will be asking it too.....

Hail Hail

Agree wi' everything you say CR,except for the last line, the Hundits and the Media, are too busy stickin the boot intae us! HH ☘️ 🍺🥳

It sickens me to the pit of my stomach to see or hear of a happy HUN but that is what we have at the moment.
But what have they really got to be happy about? a false hope that's all nothing else.
See a league campaign is like a boxing match, 12 rounds if it should go that long. We are the nine times consecutive champions and going for the never before 10 times on the trot.
We have only gone 3 rounds so far and in fairness we have started very poorly to what we are capable of.
We have taken a huge blow in that 3rd round and our opposition hurt us badly, but they haven't ko us yet, far from it. We are still a little wobbly on our feet but signs of the true champions we are, starting to show, but our defence needs to tighten up as blows are been taken that should be easily avoidable. There is a bit of unrest in our corner at the moment as our tactics are still short of them of a champion.
So as things stand we are behind on points, had so much thrown at us, but we are still standing.
We are only going into the 4th round this week, and the change of fortunes are on the cards, we will deliver a big blow on Sunday that our opposition won't like, and will be the start of our return into this fight.
With a long way to go in this fight the true class of the Champions will shine through in the end.
True champions don't become and stay champions if they haven't got that touch of class and fighting spirit about them. This may have have been missing in these early rounds but with such a loyal and passionate following behind the champions they will still stand tall and proud when they retain there crown for the 10th consecutive time.
I made the claim that the ko blow from the champions would be delivered by the 6th which is christmas, but that may extend longer than I expected due to the very slow start of the Champions. There main oppersition have had a track record of starting brightly but punch themselves out by the 6th.
It is yet to be seen if there staying power has improved even though there zombie klanbase think they have already won this fight. That is understandable as for the first time they have a belief in a false hope in there very short and unsuccessful history to date.
But like a true champion the class will win through in the end with a bit to spare and there oppersition will end up on the canvas wondering where it all went wrong yet again.

In this season, more than any of the previous nine, psychology is going to be just as important as physical fitness or the basic ability of playing football.

For the first time throughout this period, the pressure has shifted to Celtic presently and that horde have, quite literally, nothing left to lose. That is not just because of recent results and performances, but because of what winning 10 successive titles signifies in a historical context.

They know that being the Champions of Europe is beyond their reach and they know that they will never realistically be in a position to ever win 10 successive titles (much less what Celtic can potentially rack up if/when we pass that milestone).

This year was always going to be the toughest, regardless of how the zombies were playing, as expectations have been raised and there was always the danger of contracting 'white line fever' as the end approaches. There are several factors we have to circumnavigate or avoid in order to achieve greatness and so far we haven't done a great job of either. If we look at the most obvious ones - we can see where the immediate danger lies:

1. Complacency

In any walk of life, complacency is the is the one trait which is likely to see anyone be hurt, damaged, fired, divorced or defeated. It comes with habit and routine and it often comes undetected. It comes with presumption and assumption and it is the single biggest threat to Celtic's title aspirations. Celtic have done well to avoid it in recent seasons, let's not let it lead to our downfall now.

2. Arrogance

During the horror of the 90's, it was the arrogance of the dead club and those who follow followed it that bothered me the most. Their smugness and their bragging exacerbated this point and I always feared it creeping into our own attitudes whilst we handily disposed of all before us during this run. Can anyone deny that we have displayed more than our own hints of arrogance and not only among the fans, but also among some of our players, managers and directors?

3. Lack Of Hunger/Drive/Ambition/Motivation

It is only natural that successful teams often struggle with these aspects only due to the fact that they often exhaust their supply in actually achieving success in the first instance. These traits are mainly found in those who are trying to propel themselves to success from a losing position and once that status has been achieved, then their necessity is not quite as required as before. Whilst players never tire of winning titles and trophies on the day that they are handed out, the long drudge of playing the games to get to those occasions becomes a bit of a chore and that has been evident in some of our performances this season. Perhaps now that our position is under genuine threat, the energy levels and that hunger, drive and ambition might become more apparent. If not - then it might be a long winter of high hopes and low expectations.

4. Disharmony

Celtic are uniquely placed in Scottish football. Not only do we have to compete against opponents on the field of play, but we are constantly bombarded by attacks from the football authorities, match officials, national government and, of course, the entirety of the print, digital and broadcast media. To any of our enemies, the slightest chink in our armour leads to a clamour of accusations and rumours that "all is not well" and that the environment in Paradise has turned toxic and poisoned the well.

You don't need to be Bob Woodward or Carl Bernstein to realise that there certain issues within the camp, but if these aren't contained or adequately addressed - then our enemies might just get what they wished for in creating discord within the corridors of Celtic Park and Lennoxtown.

Lenny has implied/inferred that there were players who had expressed their desire to be somewhere else. Once that becomes apparent - it creates an instant divide within the dressing room as a once strongly-knitted group realises that one or two of them might not be fighting for the same cause. This is an area where a good manager earns his corn as these types of fissures have to be resealed in double time before they become gaping chasms.

Disharmony is a disease and once it spreads then everything becomes infected.........including our hopes of winning further titles.

That all sounds pretty depressing, but on the positive side - we are not at the point of no return and momentum can quickly shift in football.

Regardless of what the post implies - the positives at Celtic far exceed the negatives and if we can just smooth off a few really rough edges in our game - then we are countdown commencing to another title lift off.

We can also do with just worrying about our own performances a bit more and pay no heed to the shady shenanigans at shitshow shentral on the shouthshide, mish moneypenny.

Awww man.........I've bored myself into submission again!!!

Fuck sake even their captain corageuos admitted he shites himself when the crowds are in, sign of a loser, wait until the first defeat comes from a SPFL lower team they will cave in, caved in to Hamilton and Hearts when both were fighting off relegation, the media can only influence if Tims read the nonesense dont read or listen to the radio stations or the media, we are Celtic and they have backed us into a corner the media have attacked the manager and Shane Duffy, this is not journalism this is fan boy fantasy, who the fuck is Chris Jack a self confessed writer for the old clubs magazine and now the Evening Times, boycott it, why take the opinion of a hun no mark disguised as a journalist, Keith Jackson also a self confessed journalist who played for the huns, admitted, a no mark, dont buy the wealth of the radar record, Radio Clyde also full of cheer leaders pretending to have alligences to other clubs, Dalziel hun pretending to support Motherwell, Halliday self confessed staunch orangeman, Alex Rae wooden head and friend and long time coke head with Novo. Cannot string two sentences together, never mind two passes and talks like a ned. And of course Hugh the soup taker and Mark Wilson who lets callers and no mark pundits slag him off, in it for the wonga.

Remember this is a tribute act doped financially and backed with the SFA who have took the SKY deal to keep the tribute alive and under the pretence of same old club, SKY, monster munch Boyd fat and baldy with an infierority complex, hidden under designer wear and fake hair, nervously smiles when he talks to hide his inner inferiority and lack of a brain cell, hates Celtic with a vengenance and will make up shit, cause he just knows things, Jim White could not contain himself when his old club were liquidated, has shown his colours previously when he and Mark Walters took part in a bigot fest in Ireland and wore the staunch uniform, thats only some of them, Andy Gray, David Tanner, McCoist sleekit and back at the well for more wonga.

Just avoid these outlets and things will change if you need them to form an opinion then you need help. Look out yesterdays papers Celtic slughtered for not beating Aberdeen in their own patch, really, was that the excuse to vent your hatred for a Derry man and the man from Lurgan, journalists ( no laughing) venting their staunchness in a circulated tabloid, really how open is that?
How to win titles, do not get beat, if you are going to drop points do it away.

Celtic have competed every season with players missing due to injury and vast amounts of games played, this is the test to come for the huns, Celtic have now got the luxury of players coming back, Forrest, Eddie, Julien (?) Bitton, ElHammad, Griffiths, Rogic, Johnson, these guys could grace any team in the country, we are seen these guys been added to the likes of Laxalt, Barkass, Duffy,Klamala, Turnbull, Sorro and we have reserves waiting their chance we saw a glimpse of young Walsh and watched him come through a derby unscathed, we saw why he is not ready for Europe v Milan, the quality is there and its a long long hard season, we do not need to buy this January and we could easily sell to sustain our club going forward so really there is not much to read about which we do not already know, unless you want to indulge in gossip and go down the depressing route then the media is for you and Celtic is not, if you want to laugh at the idiotic media, then guys like James Forrest, Phil Mac, Pat Anderson, Scottish Football Monitor these guys listen out for the negatives and put it into perspective, so dont waste your money on rags and do not clickbait, and also do not wate energy by polluting your home with Radio Clyde negative waves and the false wisdom from soup takers, also the same with Radio Scotland, do not listen to fat pricks like Kenny Mac and his fantasy affairs with the Barry and Derek Fergusons whom he kisses arses and sucks up to, Celtic mean so much more than to Scotland than the negativity these bastards bring to it, this club fed the poor, its people and gave us a history and culture to be proud of when others kept us down and in a place, they hate the fact Celtic fans are smarter and educated and now are in the place and circles these tadgers want to be. remember you are listen to the words of fannies who watched their ship go down to liquidation and never put a penny in or demanded to remove the spivs, every media paper out there is the price they sold their club to the scrapman. The hun oblivion was the greatest tax scandal Scotland has ever seen and the outcome was publicly put on trial yet the people behind it live and are doing it all over again, every pundit and journalist that allows the myth, allows themselves to be scammed and knows deep down they lie for a living, thats the price they pay, they are obiedent to the wage and some to the soup.

Cannot string two sentences together, never mind two passes and talks like a ned. And of course Hugh the soup takers and Mark Wilson who lets callers and no mark pundits slag him off in it for the wonga.

Remember this is a tribute act doped financially and backed with the SFA who have took the SKY deal to keep the tribute alive and under the pretence of same old club, SKY, monster munch Boyd fatr and baldy with an infierority complex, hidden under designer wear and fake hair, nervously smiles when he talks to hide his inner inferiority and lack of a brain cell, hates Celtic with a vengenance and will make up shit, cause he just knows things, Jim White could not contain himself when his old club were liquidated, has shown his colours previously when he and Mark Walters took part in a bigot fest in Ireland and wore the staunch uniform, thats only some of them, Andy Gray, David Tanner, McCoist sleekit and back at the well for more wonga.

Just avoid these outlets and things will change if you need thenm to form an opinion then you need help. Look out yesterdays papers Celtic slughtered for not beating Aberdeen in their own patch, really, was that the excuse to vent your hatred for a Derry man and the man from Lurgan, journalists ( no laughing) venting their staunchness in a circulated tabloid, really how open is that?
How to win titles do not get beat, if you are going to drop points do it away.

Celtic have competed every season with players missing due to injury and vast amounts of games played, this is the test to come for the huns, Celtic have now got the luxury of players coming back, Forrest, Eddie, Julien (?) Bitton, ElHammad, Griffiths, Rogic, Johnson, these guys could grace any team in the country, we are seen these guys been added to the likes of Laxalt, Barkass, Duffy,Klamala, Turnbull, Sorro and we have reserves waiting thier chance we saw a glimpse of young Walsh and watched him come through a derby unscathed, we saw why he is not ready for Europe v Milan, the quality is there and its a long long hard season, we do not need to buy this January and we could easily sell to sustain our club going forward so really there is not much to read about which we do not already know, unless you want to indulge in gossip and go down the depressing route then the media is for you and Celtic is not, if you want to laugh at the idiotic media, then guys like James Forrest, Phil Mac, Pat Anderson, Scottish Football Monitor these guys listen out for the negatives and put it into perspective, so dont waste your money on rags and do not clickbait, and also do not wate energy by polluting your home with Radio Clyde negative waves and the false wisdom from soup takers, also tthe same with Radio Scotland, do not listen to fat pricks like Kenny Mac and his fantasy affairs with the Barry and Derek Fergusons whom he kisses arses and sucks up to, Celtic mean so much more than to Scotland than the negativity these bastards bring to it, this club fed the poor, its people and gave us a history and culture to be proud of when others kept us down and in a place, they hate the fact Celtic fans are smarter and educated and now are in the place and circles these tadgers want to be. remember you are listen to the words of fannies who watched their ship go down to liquidation and never put a penny in or demanded to remove the spivs, every media paper out there is the price they sold their club to the scrapman.

There has been a perpetual war on truth waged by the media, but even moreso in the aftermath of the digital revolution.

I'm not averse to adapting a narrative to suit my own purposes, but I try not to let my altered reality impact or affect other people.

The media take the opposite stance and try their damndest to pollute the news cycle with propaganda, disinformation and blatant lies. It might appeal to those who wish to believe that their dystopian nightmare is some kind of utopian paradise, but for anyone who is a freethinking, independently minded realist - the comforting lies are quite easy to see beyond.

Honesty means transparency and it is that absolute lack of transparency that would concern me most if my genetics were faulty and I found myself standing in their corner. The best recent example can be seen across the pond and how their current administration has continually twisted and distorted truth to pollute the newsrooms and the minds of the American population. Their most ardent supporters still believe, but the lie can't stand up to rigorous examination and it is that same lack of curiosity which is clearly evident in the zombie quarter of Glasgow and beyond.

We can control our own narrative by depending solely upon the evidence we experience. If it doesn't smell, sound, taste, feel or look right - then these forums have proven that we are prepared to question, argue and debate the reasons.

There are issues at the club. There is no point in denying it, but these are issues that we still have power to control and correct. It's when we lose control and stop questioning that we have a serious, potentially damaging issue.

I support Lenny, but I see his faults and will remark upon them. I support the board, but I am all too aware of their faults and I will remark upon them. I support the players, but I see their shortcomings and I will remark upon them.

I'd still much rather be in our position than theirs. At least we can be honest about our circumstances and transparent about our standing.

It's not perfect, but when has it ever been so?

Feeling better already John. A good way to start the day!
