Red/Yellow suspensions...

It would be dependent on the severity of the crimes committed, and previous points gathered from earlier suspensions, however no matter what version of the rules you apply anywhere in the world (except here) 3 yellows in the one game is unheard of.
.........................

Didn’t an English referee issue 3 yellows in the same game to the same player.....and subsequently got hounded out the game for it.....if memory serves me right?

happy to e-mail them if you guys have questions on the procedure. disciplinary@scottishfa.co.uk
They have a history of not responding it must be said
.......................

What if you ask the question of both Celtic and the SFA and what are they going to do about it.....issuing 3 yellows to the same player in the same game is not in the rules.....according to reports then.....there has been an obvious breach of the rules.....we need an explanation that’s without fear or favour.....and is seen to uphold the integrity of the game.....surely one of the most fundamental matters for the SFA to be seen to be abiding by?

Our board have taken the action as always of brushing it under the fekn carpet.

So Morelos gets 2 yellow cards therefore a red card on the field of play. He then gets what is reported in the referee report as receiving what would equate as a yellow card for an offence after the match (no-one know if this was the throat gesture or something else)

He cannot be given a further yellow card as such as the referee didn’t act during the game- but it can go in the referee report as being an action that would have been equivalent to the awarding of a caution had it been on the field of play.

As such it becomes a compliance issue surely and no longer an issue for the match referee. Any further suspension due etc is not decided by ref.

If that's the case it's the SFA who then decide that the extra cautionable offence would not be acted upon and not the referee.

So are the SFA being somewhat disingenuous in saying the referee dealt with it by a yellow card? He didn’t as I see it. Clancy passed it back to them to make the decision (as the game was over) as to what further disciplinary points/suspension would occur.

They thought for 3 weeks then decided to make Clancy the scapegoat.

Seems SFA and Stevie G throw employees under the bus.

Ex Ref Derek Crothers response seems to indicate the same. It's not for the ref to decide it's for Clare Whyte to decide if further punishment due and indicates it should have been dealt with at same time as Christie decision..

'Kent should've been cautioned during match apart from that Clancy handled the Morelos 3rd caution correctly. SFA should have made it aware that Morelos was cautioned and Compliance Officer wasn't taking any further action when she cited Christie. If I were Clancy I'd be raging'

They are claiming the nonsense with the hun staff and the incidents with Kent and Moreloss have been put into one to be dealt with, bullshit they are isolated incidents, therefore not linked, cheating bastards.

Sportsound and McCann twisted wee hun, Allan has been getting stick, like Moreloss, Allan just sticks the penalty away and gives the fans the shoosh, Dundee utd fans accept it and none of this nonsense from fans and good refereeing Clancy.

Sticking up for his pal Boyd wee arsehole and been a cheerleader for the huns. It’s a fucking replay between two teams with no fucking link to the huns.

I think they should be linked by one thing. The referees report but he doesn't act on that. The SFA compliance team looks at it and decides what further action should be taken. To say Clancy gave a third yellow and the case is closed, welliIt stinks.
He cannot give a third yellow, only that he witnesed an action post game that would have equated as a yellow if it was during the game and included that in his match report.

If it was the throat gesture it would have been a straight second red and he never saw it and he never issued anything after the game or we would have read it in the SPFL tables and results and in summaries, its a load of bullshit

Spot on. Had it been for the throat gesture Clancy wouldn't have had to issue and 'equivelant'. He saw it on the field of play and shoud have issued a card then. Complete cover up and a piss poor effort at that
