The HUNS are really reaching for the bottom with Martin....

Brendan is on another level from this guy as indeed 'Celtic' are as a club....

No excuses if we cannot continue on our 5 in a row run now.......

Have a great summer ALL!!

See that according to monstermunch Boyd the points gap from last season, finance gap, etc doesn’t make any difference, Martin can bring them the title.
HAHAHAHAHA
Didn’t he make the same claim about Phil? That imbecile would say the same thing if they appointed Bozo the Clown as the next manager.

Finding it very interesting on a couple of levels in relation to the new owners.
Given the reaction from the undead over the last couple of days, you would think the old board would have u-turned on appointing him. Yet the new owners been fairly unbothered and pressed ahead. Shape of things to come when they take it private?

Plus - notice he’s the “Head Coach” - not the Manager. Which means he will work with the players he’s given - probably won’t be getting any say in Transfers. Which means a procession of freebies, Leeds academy players, youngsters with “good metrics” etc etc that will be heralded as great finds that will make Sevco zillions when they are sold. (Not)

Reckon they're starting the new manager hunt to replace Martin?. 🤣

It doesn't really matter what fans on either side think of him. He is in that role so we have to deal with the challenge ahead of us from sevco and the other sides we have to face. We cannot afford to rest on our laurels but have to try to improve at every level.

That includes recruitment, youth development, coaches and players. Get the best players you can, make them better and play to the best of your abilities as often as possible, adapting style and tactics according to the challenge you face in front of you.

If you do all of that then you will win much more often than you don't. Our record is very good in recent years, but there have still been a number of occasions last season when we were not firing on all cylinders. That does happen and you do have to grind out results sometimes, but we did it a bit too often.

Surely Martin cannot be as bad as The Moleman or Clementine? So we have to be better next season to make sure success remains in our hands.

Only time will tell but I suspect that one of these appointments will work at some point.

We have to see it as a challenge and up our own level to ensure this guy is not it regardless of many writing him off already.

The huns will be forced to be at it early doors with competitive football and will be ready when the season begins.

I don't mind this guy as it stands but clearly I want him to fail ...alot of that will be down to our reaction and not sitting still.

The fat pie muncher is just a cheer leader for SEVCO.

He's more one-eyed than a pirate!

Martin has always came across as a decent guy, just hope Ibrox doesn't turn him into a scumbag.
Out of the guys who were linked with the huns job, he's probably the best they could have hot. Gerrard is a terrible manager, Ancelloti was a fitness coach until his daddy gave him a job.
Doesn't really matter who their boss is, if the Americans are going to run the club sustainable, the standard of their squad will drop. Aberdeen will be challenging them for second next season

Don’t know about everybody else but I’m getting sick of reading opinions from footballing non-entities about how we have to be careful of them next year. Because they got 20m and a new manager again? They got Phil and he spent a fair amount of cash did he not? How did that work out? Ah yes..he got sacked and they finished 17pt behind us.
How many times has this played out before and what was the outcome? The only time they did anything was under Slippery and that wasn’t even because he was a good manager. We simply imploded and failed to compete that year.
We should be on our toes every season not just coz they got a small kitty and a new coach. Maybe this guy Martin can improve them, maybe not. Time will tell.
Of course finishing only 10pt behind next season would be an improvement but wouldn’t win them squat.

The amount of comments and predictions flying about all aimed at Celtic no mention of other teams in the league it appears that they think beat Celtic win everything, crazy, Martin has a Big problem on his hands he hasn’t a clue what players his team will have with the level of cash going down daily and his need to sell the ones he has left who knows what he will end up with he could struggle to finish in the top 3 it takes time to build a team anyone who thinks that will happen from day one is living in a fantasy world they are feeding the Mugs smoke sannys

At least he was the popular choice for the staunch. Having said that he might actually be good if he has the funds to buy players who play football his way. Im not sure he has much choice from current batch to play the way he likes to set up his teams. I dont think he will be mentally ready for the abuse if he doesnt get wins regularly and quickly.

Has decent record for young manager. But Im not sure if he any better than Ferguson. Im actually surprised they didnt give Barry chance to rebuild team if they are willing to take big risk on a manager who wasnt a fans favourite.

Amazes me that many of the rabid mob seem to believe that the appearance of the 49ers will change things overnight. They have reportedly ponied up £20m so far…not £200m and neither are they likely to upfront. They didn’t do this with Leeds so why would they for them?
It’s been repeatedly pointed out that these guys are businessmen not supporters of theRangers.
That means they will want a return on their investment.
Amazing huh? An actual Return…i.e. taking money out not just putting it in. Remember the Glazers and Man Utd? Not saying the 49ers consortium are as bad as the Glazers but they are not investing because they love this mob.
Their constant delusional dreams are always a source of great amusement to me. As we say ‘it’s the hope that kills them’.

The 200million pushed by the media it was never going to happen even the 20 million is a pipe dream as they haven’t decided what amount will be used to buy to buy players, could be the investors want some spent on the stadium we know it desperately needs it, don’t know what sort of money they will have but it looks like Derssers and Raskin are the ones they want to sell, they are still in fantasy world being honest where are you going to get players of a high enough standard to achieve thier dreams to win the league ect with thier. Budget could turn into a nightmare but the Mugs still buy it
