Scottish Cup Semi Final, Celtic v St Mirren, Sunday 19th April, Hampden Park 2pm

I was watching KT closely. He was blowing out his arse later on, and he struggles to defend balls in the air to the back post. I hope our coaching staff can see this, as I’m sure our competitors can…
I honestly think KT is a far better defender than Scratch is...Scratch though distributes the ball faster most of the time, and does seem to get forward quicker.... But hey ho it'll be Andy R next season 😉

The fans.....

It was good to see the People's front of Judea and the Judean People's front join together to create a decent atmosphere with some fantastic vocals...I personally would like to see them unite behind one of the goals at Celtic Park but I doubt the soft seat mob would be up for it..

It was gut wrenching to hear fuds booing the team after the 90 ...do us all a favour and boycott the final or better still just hand your season tickets back...probably just as well i wasn't near any of them...bloody entitled fuds...

I think KT has been one of our best, most consistent performers this season. He's defensively better than Saracchi and his goals and assists are one of the reasons we are still in with a chance of success.
I thought yesterday was a bit of a struggle for him, maybe it's time to leave him on the bench against Falkirk and start with Saracchi. Give KT a couple of weeks and be ready to return v Hibs at the start of May.

Ive yet to see the overall benefit of having KT back.....he has struggled more often than not.
In the handful of appearances that Scratchy has made he has offered so much more than Keiron.
It seems to me if your name is KT or Calmac your guaranteed a start no matter your fitness or your output.

When you know they play for the jersey, I think it allows them a wee bit of latitude. A wee bit mind you.

I do agree though, I’d be playing Scratchy first up. He is exactly what we need in the run in my view…

Question time...

You have the ball in your opponents penalty box and 4 options are open to you..

1...Shoot and score or hope for a rebound...

2...Side foot it to the teams top scorer..

3... Play it across the front to Daizen who's on form and already scored...

Or the least likely

4 ... Back heel it to the right back who ain't renowned for getting it on target let alone in..

Who among you would pick the 4th option 🤔 😀..

Nice one Yang ☯️ 👏 👍
I called it, as I could see it unfolding, and what a shot from Tony. And if you buy that...well, you know the rest

Agreed Gary, although I do think KT was hampered with the guy infront of him on the left-wing playing like a coo (bar one move).

5 ... Stop, turn 180°, pass the ball back to a midfielder under pressure so he will pass it back to Arthur, who will pass back to Trusty, who will pass it back to Sinisalo, who will hoof it to midfield to be won by St Mirren to start a counter-attack against us.

Who amongst us would pick the 5th option? If you did then please contact Shaun Maloney as he will give you a job as assistant head coach.

Shit I was wrong, I thought Lubo would have came on with that 😅😅😅

Man City have also just conceded from a blocked goalie clearance. The over-use of this style of playing out from the back and inviting the high pressure should be cut right back. It actually results in more chances to the sides not in possession than the team with the ball deep in their own half these days.

It was fine when Pep perfected it at Barca when other sides didn't know what to do and he had several of the best players in the world. But the game has moved on. Plus our players simply do not have the skill or composure of those Barcelona stars of the early 2010s.

And those players from the early 2010s are in their very late 30's, early 40's, or approaching 50 now and are still better than our mob 😆😆😆

Anybody else think McGregor should be kept on the bench for the next match? He is having a negative effect on the team in my opinion with his constant pointing and telling teammates to pass back or side ways is doing my head in .
Maybe Reo to come in after not getting a game on the weekend. Here's Shaun explaining the reason for the Dane Murray for Ben Arthur substitute rather than bringing Reo on. Seemed to understand and there's nothing to see here in spite of the SMSM trying to make a crisis out of it HH

his dive for the first goal was pure comedy
That crossed my mind anaw at hampden, but I was at the other end and down low so not a great view, having seen it again it looks like the dive was an afterthought....however he did command his box and got a good few punches clear, along with a cracker of a save from a header...did dilly dally a bit though with the ball at his feet..
