Darnell Johnson faces a 2 match ban for his assault on Emilio Izzaguire despite being yellow carded by ref Craig Thomson

So despite the ref seeing the incident and acting on it the player faces further punishment

Kind of makes you wonder why Morelos wasn't cited for his 3 attacks on 29th December because the ref saw it but didn't act

Could this be the start of SFA lies and corruption beginning to unravel?

That's the thing about lies More lies need to be told to cover up the original lie

The liars at the sfa have painted themselves into a corner, but grounds for a hibs appeal methinks Bill.

The story they are punting is -
the ref saw some of the incident but not all of it , hence only the yellow card . Having seen it later he agrees that it should have been red .
What they fail to say, however , is that the linesman was standing 5 yards away , is mic'd up to the ref and could see the whole incident . Why then did HE not draw the ref's attention to it ?

In the McGregor one , we now have the ref ( Madhun ) claiming the same excuse - he did not see the incident fully . Crap ! He had a great view and did nothing . If he had , it was a sending off and a penalty - game gone for Sevco !

But these EXCUSES highlight the Beaton Affair . The fact that no action was taken by the authorities after it was clear to everyone including Blind Pugh that More-or-less should have had at least one red/two yellows puts this in perspective . They have allowed Beaton to pretend that he saw nothing wrong in all these incidents and that they agreed with his decisions . Shite !

Clarity.

When all else fails and your out a job some people just have that type of face where they can dance as a lad or a lad with make-up.

i would put money on McGregor appealing it and being successful, maybe this is the smokescreen to cover the cabbage patch getting off with it

The most telling comment on the referee mess is Brendan saying we should remember they are all amateurs!!! The stiletto slips gently between the ribs!!!
They can't exactly deny it.
HH
That is inherently false because they are NOT amateurs They are semi professionals and are HANDSOMELY paid for their couple of hours work so I'm unsure of BR's intent

100% nailed it with that post Millsy. (y) They're tying themselves up in knots trying to explain away their bullshit reasoning.

This post deserves a wider audience.

It's right on the money

One rule for them one rule for us,The SFA rules are made up with elastic it just depends on which way they need to stretch, even round corners if they need too, notice how much the media has picked up this inconsistency hardly a word yet when in the case of Morelos attacks on Celtic players it was down to the Ref,this week down to a Review and McGreggor offered a two match ban one less than Morelos yet given his history and SFA,s own rules he should have got a minimum 4, justice is blind and in this case her scales are broken as well ???!

.......................................

Brendan imo knows exactly what he's doing.

He's cutely highlighting the continual cheating by the MIB by calling it incompetentence due to the MIB not being full time professionals so it's not really their fault.

The threat of full time professional referees is now being mooted due to the continual so called honest mistakes and rank dishonesty being applied re Sevco.

Any full time referees will see the MIB made redundant and they and the SFA know it.

Things are happening behind the scenes I am now convinced of this.

Let's see if it makes a difference.....but the first shots have been fired
