Heard petrescu moaning about the same thing before yesterday's game regarding the Romanian FA. The FA's and league associations of smaller nations have been hindering their own clubs attempts at success in Europe for too long now. our clubs success in Europe brings in much needed cash for all the clubs in the country. The better our clubs do the better the cash amount recieved by all clubs in the leagues. Football is no longer just a sport but also a business. Which other businesses or CEOs would hinder their assets chances of bringing in much needed money for cash strapped clubs? An example, say dulux brought out a new range of paints but the board and CEO forbid the advertising department of marketing the product to the best of their abilities then surely the product will fail to gain maximum profit from sales and the board and CEO would be culpable of negligence for holding back the potential of the product to make as much profit as possible? The SFA/SPFL are the ones responsible for running the business in this country. If any Scottish club are playing in europe even in the prelims then surely a good well managed business would give it products (clubs) the best chance to succeed by postponing any league or cup tie those clubs are involved in until a later date? This is simple logic and I'm no businessman but surely now as Scottish clubs successes are at a premium and the possibility of 2 champions league spots is within range again. If the governing bodies do nothing to help the cause of its members then they are unfit for purpose? In any other way of business this kind of non' action would not be tolerated as it is most certainly impeding the benefits of all member clubs abilities to bring in as much revenue as possible? If Celtic did not have to travel on the 15th to Easter road having just flown across Europe and back. Then Celtic could have put a stronger XI on the field and won that game in Romania meaning more cash for all clubs in Scottish football. Due to the ridiculous festive season fixture list we couldn't risk our best players over there? These people who run our game are running it into the ground and they all should be sacked immediately for neglecting the game and the business and therefore how much clubs in lower divisions can benefit from Celtic, the rangers and Aberdeen's euro run
