Should someone have had a word in Willie Wallace's ear before he had a chat with the Sun?

He’s allowed to have a view. We might not like it being used to have a go by the Sevconian press, but it’s his right. He earned it.
He has earned the right. No argument. He was also talking a fountain of pish. Didn't have a clue about the workings of the Arzani deal. I can't speak for the man himself but id gamble that he regrets the sack the manager if he was on the board comment after he found out it was the board that signed the player. Medals and history aside that article painted him as a mad old duffer

Oh I agree. But even mad old duffers can say what they like.

I read a second article where he clarified his remarks and again it looks like the shitrag sun tried to muddy the waters as usual. Saying that the man is a lisbon lion so even if he had said what was initially reported then he has earned the right to have thise views. Even as we have the right to disagree with them

I had to go back and look at this interview. I understand why people are critical of anyone having a go at BR. WW did say that he couldn't understand why we get people on loan for a few years and pay their wages but don't play them. I know people can say this is disrespectful but why are we paying Daniel Arzani's wages for a season when he can't complete a full game for the reserves. His comments on Rogic are his opinion but he's another guy who shows flashes of genius and at other times is breathing out his ass after 60 minutes. I guess anyone who has won the European Cup as a Celtic player is entitled to his opinion. Have no doubt that the Sun used their usual influence to twist the context of what was actually said. Said it 1000 times - we need players who are the finished article - too many development players mulling around who are not going to make it...

The Daily Ranger are running with the article now. They are pulling out the stops and it really needs someone with a pair of balls to step up to the plare and take these bastards on. I’m not half as angry that these Sevconian pricks publish these type of things as I am we don’t fight back. Fucking sickens me to the back teeth. Get off your fucking knees Celtic and start throwing punches ffs!

I can never get my head round why never any fight back from the clubs
hierarchy, they just take everything that is thrown in their direction.l
My old dad (passed away many years ago) used to say it was a dignified
silence,the Celtic ethos.
