Summer Signings 2026

A bit early and with no new manager, head of football operations, head of scouting to name but a few positions, not sure where this is coming from but Stephen McGowan saying we are interested in signing Elijah Just of Motherwell and Miguel Chaiwa of Hibs.
Both would be good additions as part of a massive rebuild to the squad.
A bit 🙈🙈🙈🙈.

I've not even had my easter eggs yet......What date is deadline day anyway, I'll check back then 🙃..

😅😅😅....

Think we’ll sign a manager not sure anycnut else our Guardians will wait till the second before the last second then blame Gary67 for revealing there transfer plans.
Past history tells me they’ll fuck the fuck out of the rebuild.
So I’ve no faith in the Quiet man or his cohorts

HH😔

Odin Thiago Holm looks set for a return to Norway, with Vålerenga moving to bring the midfielder back on loan from Celtic before the transfer window shuts. [TV2]
The 23-year-old joined Celtic in 2023 from the Oslo club in a deal worth around £2.6 million. At the time, he arrived with a strong reputation, having already built a solid run of games in the Norwegian top flight.
His time in Glasgow has not quite developed as expected. Minutes have been limited, and a consistent run in the side has been hard to find. A loan move to Los Angeles FC earlier this year was meant to offer that opportunity, but game time there was also restricted.
Now, a return to familiar surroundings appears to be the next step. Vålerenga have been in talks with Celtic and, as it stands, there reportedly is a verbal agreement in place between the clubs for a loan deal. There is no option to buy included at this stage, with the move viewed as a straight loan.
Holm is expected to travel to Oslo to complete the move, with both sides working against the clock ahead of the transfer deadline. The deal still needs to be finalised, but there is confidence it will be completed in time.

I don't know if that's a good thing or not.

Holm heading home, always thought there was a player in him, but our midfield form was a bit more consistent when he was trying to break through...was kinda hoping to see a bit more of him, maybe next season...but I doubt it..
Doubt we'll see him again. His injury/condition is career threatening. Maybe the less frenetic pace of Norwegian football will give a chance of continuing

I hope that Holm is well enough to play. He has a serious injury and it looked like his playing days were over. I thought he looked alright with a fair bit of potential. It was a shame he got sent off against the Dutch in one of his first games.

Ialso think he could have played a role for us since he returned if only he wasn't injured (mind you, he probably would not have come back if he was fit). He is the physical type of player Martin liked.

Good luck and fingers crossed he gets better soon.
