I actually thought shin pads were compulsory for senior footballers? But I don't think him not wearing shin pads was the reason for Hagi lunging in to almost break his leg! When you see the bones at the bottom of the leg bend like that you know it was close to snapping.

This issue really needs to be revisited by the SFA, SPFL and UEFA, if football in Scotland is to have any credibility whatsoever. The permitted buying of national honours and titles has made a mockery of the game here. Furthermore, Its cynical exploitation for marketing benefits, creates an unfair financial advantage for one club exclusively. It would not be allowed happen in any proper functioning sporting enviornment. It stinks, and calls into question, the impartiality and governance within Scottish football.

Tomorrow's game will be interesting. Will it even go ahead? Scotland will start to be battered with high winds and rain as Storm Ashley gets closer. It won't be conducive to playing football so may help Killie as it could be a real leveller.

So that will give their staunch manager, Hun DMc, nightmares in case his club take points off of his beloved favourites.

I owe McInnes an apology. His Killie side have really been up for the game today and are well deserving of their lead. Sevco have been poorer than we were yesterday and Kilmarnock have had the better chances. Fingers crossed they hang on for a well deserved victory.

P.S. where is the crap weather forecast yesterday? It is horrendous here with flood warnings.
