Can't think of a single successful famous manager's son following in his fathers footsteps.Davide Ancelotti (Carlo's bhoy) new Sevco manager. Starts in June after assisting his auld man's first 2 games as Brazil manager in early June.
Darren Ferguson has three promotions, two with Peterborough in successive years and one with Donny Rovers. The two with Peterborough were successive years and got them to the English Championship. That's success of sorts? Can't think of a single successful famous manager's son following in his fathers footsteps.
Edit: I said successful.![]()
Aye but think of awe the loan players his da will send over to the huns ehAncelotti Junior will be delighted with his first signing as will the 49ers....the huns agreed a deal thats forces them to pay £4m in June for the boy Cortes who is on loan and hasnt kicked a baw.
In the meantime they cannie afford to buy their best player this season Cerny for £6m.
Great business continuing over there.
Always worked for his father. Firstly as fitness coach at PSG/Everton, then assistant manager at Bayern/RealHas he managed before or just worked wi his da ?

Barry's nose has been put well out of joint!Seen Wee Bawwy talking on the news, he reckons they need a manager wae experience & not a project(especially a TIM)
Not surprised, given his results! He's beenI would say Ferguson was an inexperienced manager. He’s got a high opinion about himself and his management team. Even the hun fans have heard enough about him not getting the job.
Clearly there has been some lasting damage from years of Bawwy headbutting the lockers before matches. He wasn't the brightest to start with, but he has deteriorated badly (goodly???) as time went on.Not surprised, given his results! He's been!
He's only just won his first home game. Surely he didn't think he was in line for the job? Nothing to do with how experienced your are, what you did in your playing career, who you are... just whether the people hiring think you can win in the future.
The people hiring, the sensible Hun fans (just a handful of them!), us and the rest of Scottish football all know he's pish, because he is who he is, and he can't change that. He was a decent player, but will never be a decent manager - different skill set.
I've loved watching the whole thing play out though (...bar the game at Celtic Park!). Their pain is my joy!

...like some demented, diminutive, bigoted anger management issue Sam Allardyce?Clearly there has been some lasting damage from years of Bawwy headbutting the lockers before matches. He was the brightest to start with, but he has deteriorated badly (goodly???) as time went on.
It will be brilliant when him and his Four Hunsmen of the Apocalypse return to media duty and start sniping at the new sevco manager hoping to get him sacked so they can charge in on their white rocking horses to (not) save the day again.
