I'd imagine that Ancelotti would be head coach not manager. They seem to be trying to introduce a continental model where the head coach is given the players to work with. They have already announces a new Sporting Director, Technical Director to go with the Head of Recruitment who's already there.

!He's only just won his first home game. Surely he didn't think he was in line for the job? Nothing to do with how experienced your are, what you did in your playing career, who you are... just whether the people hiring think you can win in the future.
The people hiring, the sensible Hun fans (just a handful of them!), us and the rest of Scottish football all know he's pish, because he is who he is, and he can't change that. He was a decent player, but will never be a decent manager - different skill set.
I've loved watching the whole thing play out though (...bar the game at Celtic Park!
). Their pain is my joy!

It will be brilliant when him and his Four Hunsmen of the Apocalypse return to media duty and start sniping at the new sevco manager hoping to get him sacked so they can charge in on their white rocking horses to (not) save the day again.
