I had a kid show up for work on my crew...
Half hour late...but had time to get a Starbucks...coveralls, rolled down and tied around his waist...trainers on...no steel toes...and wait for it...a fucking bandana...
The conversation, went something like this
"Hey, you're late !! and what the fuck do you think this is?...Pirates of the Carribean ??"
"Get your coveralls on properly...your steel toed safety shoes on...take that fucking doo rag off and get your mnd on the job...you're working with men now !!"
It was just the kick in the arse he needed, from then on, he was one of the best workers, showed up every day, on time & nothing was too much trouble for him
I learned from the old guys, so was just passing on my 'experience'
