Transfer Window - January 2026

Is this to give the shit stirrers an early start?
Let me get started then…
The board are incompetent charlatans
Tightwads who only want to fleece the support
No desire to succeed in Europe
Only want to pay £1m for projects not quality players first team ready
I hear we have inquired about Haaland (this may just be a rumour planted by the board)
OK that’ll do for starters…anybody else?
😖😉

The Haaland transfer is on hold just now as Man City investigate exactly what gingie bottles are 👍

First of the rumours seems to be Bobby Clark from RB Salzburg (currently on loan at Derby). The Times down south (now being picked up by the usual suspects up here) reporting we are looking to buy him for £6m in January.
20 y.o. attacking midfielder, ex-Liverpool.

Now if I can be sensible for a minute ((o yes i can))...

Would the celebrity golfer sanction a spending spree in January if Brendan hasn't agreed an extension to his contract 🤔 😕 ... i dont think so...

So until such a scenario occurs i dont see a January transfer "war chest " being allowed...

Loans aye..Loans with a promise to buy na...

Could be a 'club' signing. Tisdale's expertise is supposedly identifying young English talent who come through the big club academies but don't make it.
£6m could be quadrupled if he signed for us and had 2-3 successful seasons, clubs down south pay a premium for English players.
From what I remember of him at Liverpool and looking at clips of him at Salzburg he looks very much like a Hatate replacement. Maybe Reo is moving on in January.

He's a decent young player, moved because he had no chance of breaking in to Liverpool 1st team squad, like many young players that come through Liverpool Academy. They need to be top class or they don't get near 1st team look at Gannon Doak classic example

Hey - this bhoy looks quite good. We could do with his goal scoring prowess at Celtic these days. 🥳🎉

You're not allowed to score from that far away if you play for Celtic. The ball has to have been passed at least 10,000 times then fanny around just outside the penalty box for 45mins before trying to wriggle the ball between a bank of defenders that you've allowed to organise.

Nope, he hasn't grasped it at all. 🙄
